THE NEW ZEALAND GAZETTE.

Amendment Act, 1911, it is provided that such approval may be either absolute or subject to such conditions with respect to the building-line as the Governor-General, by Order in Council, thinks fit to impose, and may refer to one or both sides of the road or street:
And whereas the Auckland City Council, the local authority having control of the portion of street described in the Schedule hereto, hereinafter referred to as the said portion of street, has passed the following resolution—viz., “That the Auckland City Council doth hereby declare that the provisions of section one hundred and seventeen of the Public Works Act, 1908, shall not apply to the portion of Alba Road, in the City of Auckland, fronting Lots 1 to 8, inclusive, of the subdivision of Lots 16 to 19 and portion of Lots 15 and 20 of Allotment 29, Section 10, Suburbs of Auckland”:
And whereas it is deemed expedient that such resolution should be approved in so far as it refers to the south-western side of the said portion of street, subject to the condition hereinafter mentioned:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the above-in-part-recited Acts, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the said resolution to the extent hereinbefore mentioned, subject to the condition that no building, or part of a building, shall be erected at any time on the south-western side of the said portion of street within a distance of thirty feet of the centre-line of the said portion of street.

SCHEDULE.
ALL that portion of Alba Road, in the City of Auckland, fronting Lots 1 to 8 of Lots 16 to 19 and parts of Lots 15 and 20 of Allotment 29, Section 10, Suburbs of Auckland. As the said portion of street is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 48109, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red.

Recreation Reserve in Hawke’s Bay Land District brought under Part II of the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this twenty-fifth day of May, 1920.
Present:
His Excellency the Governor-General in Council.
BY virtue of the powers and authorities vested in me by the twenty-sixth section of the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, do hereby order and declare that the reserve for recreation in the Hawke’s Bay Land District described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same is hereby brought under the operation of and declared to be subject to the provisions of Part II of the said Act; and such reserve shall hereafter be known as the Te Puia Domain, and be managed, administered, and dealt with as a public domain.

SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the Hawke’s Bay Land District, containing by admeasurement 9 acres 1 rood 6 perches, more or less, being Sections 27 and 28, Te Puia Suburbs. Bounded towards the north by Puia Street, 755·3 and 1239·4 links respectively; towards the east by Section 29, Te Puia Suburbs, 507·7 links; towards the south generally by Victoria Parade, 451·4, 796·7, and 56 links respectively; and towards the south-west by Percy Street, 660 and 222 links respectively: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less.
Also all that area in the Hawke’s Bay Land District, containing by admeasurement 6 acres 3 roods, more or less, being Ratahi Lagoon. Bounded on all sides by Victoria Parade, Te Puia Township.
As the same are delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 29806, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Recreation Reserves in Otago Land District brought under Part II of the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this twenty-fifth day of May, 1920.
Present:
His Excellency the Governor-General in Council.
BY virtue of the powers and authorities vested in me by the twenty-sixth section of the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, do hereby order and declare that the reserves for recreation in the Otago Land District described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same are hereby brought under the operation of and declared to be subject to the provisions of Part II of the said Act; and such reserves shall hereafter form part of the Brighton Domain, and be managed, administered, and dealt with as a public domain.

SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the Otago Land District, containing by admeasurement 2 acres, more or less, being Section 60, Block I, Otokia District, and bounded as follows: Commencing at a point on the coast-line approximately 300 links in a westerly direction from the point on said coast-line due south from Trig. DD; thence generally towards the north-east, north, and west by a public road, 1400 links; and towards the south generally by high-water mark, 1150 links, to the point of commencement.
Also all that area in the Otago Land District, containing by admeasurement 3 acres, more or less, being Section 61, Block I, Otokia District, and bounded as follows: Towards the north by Beach Street in Township of Brighton, 3150 links; towards the east by Section 47, Block I, Otokia District, 100 links; towards the south by the ocean, 3200 links; and towards the west by Crown land, 60 links.
Be all the aforesaid linkages a little more or less. As the same are delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 1/146, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon coloured purple. For public-recreation purposes.

Bounded towards the north generally by the Auckland-Rotorua Railway, 643·9, 587·9, 974·7, 1798·5, and 1349·4 links; towards the south-east generally by a public road, 459·3, 1159·5, 265·8, 448·8, 398·6, 1107·2, 336·7, and 1398·2 links; and towards the south-west by a public road, 1501·7, 593·6, and 336·5 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. As the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 1/654, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red. Auckland plan No. 14729, blue.)
