A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance of the power and authority conferred upon me by section four of the Discharged Soldiers Settlement Act, 1915, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the area of Crown land described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same is hereby set apart and declared open for disposal by way of sale or lease to discharged soldiers, under special tenures, in the manner provided in the said Act.
SCHEDULE.
- AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.—CROWN LAND.
SECTION 7, Block XI, Mangaorongo Survey District: Area, 157 acres 2 roods.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, Member of His Majesty’s Most Honourable Privy Council, Knight Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Knight Grand Cross of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire, Member of the Royal Victorian Order, Knight of Justice of the Order of Saint John of Jerusalem, Governor-General and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty’s Dominion of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Dominion, at the Government House at Wellington, this twenty-second day of May, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and twenty.

Section 3, Block XV, Wharepapa Survey District, West Taupo County: Area, 288 acres.

Land taken for the Kaipara River Protective Works in Block VI, Kumeu Survey District, Waitemata County.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken, under the Public Works Act, 1908, for a certain public work—to wit, for the purposes of the Kaipara River protective works in Block VI, Kumeu Survey District, Waitemata County:
And whereas the Waitemata County Council has laid before the Governor-General a memorial, accompanied by a map (in duplicate) and also the statutory declaration, as required by the said Act:
Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Counties Act, 1908, and the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for purposes of the said Kaipara River protective works, and shall vest in the Corporation of the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Waitemata, as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twenty-sixth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and twenty.

In the North Auckland Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 41045, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

Land proclaimed as a Road in Block VIII, Kawhia South Survey District, Kawhia County.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section eleven of the Land Act, 1908, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby, with the consents of the lessee and mortgagees of the land described in the Schedule hereto, and of the Kawhia County Council, being the local authority in whose district the said land is situated, proclaim as a road the land in Kawhia South Survey District described in the Schedule hereto.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land proclaimed as a road: 2 acres 0 roods 20 perches.
