Every one is liable to ten years' imprisonment who--
(a.) Conspires with any person to murder any person; or
(b.) Incites any person to commit murder. -
Every one who attempts to commit suicide is liable to imprisonment for six months.

Every one is liable to imprisonment for life who counsels or procures any person to commit suicide, if that person actually commits suicide in consequence, or who aids or abets any person in the commission of suicide.

Every one is liable to two years' imprisonment who disposes of the dead body of any child in any manner with intent to conceal the fact that its mother was delivered of it, whether the child died before, during, or after birth.

Every one who wilfully and without lawful justification causes grievous bodily harm to any person is liable to seven years' imprisonment.

Every one who wilfully and without lawful justification causes actual bodily harm to any person is liable to two years' imprisonment.

Every one is liable to two years' imprisonment who by any act or omission causes bodily harm to any person under such circumstances that, if death had been caused, he would have been guilty of manslaughter.

Every one who indecently assaults any female person is liable to five years' imprisonment.

Every one who commits an assault on any person is liable to one year's imprisonment.

(1.) Rape is the act of a male person having carnal knowledge of a woman or girl who is not his wife--
(a.) Without her consent; or
(b.) With consent extorted by threats or fear of bodily harm; or
(c.) With consent obtained by personating her husband; or
(d.) With consent obtained by false and fraudulent representations as to the nature and quality of the act.
(2.) In the case of this and every other offence in which carnal knowledge is an element, the offence is complete upon penetration.
(3.) Every one who commits rape is liable to imprisonment for life.
(4.) Every one is liable to ten years' imprisonment who attempts to commit rape, or who assaults any person with intent to commit rape.
- (1.) Every one is liable to ten years' imprisonment who carnally knows, or attempts carnally to know, or assaults with intent to carnally know, any girl under the age of twelve years, whether he believes her to be of or over that age or not.
(2.) It shall be no defence to a charge under this clause that the girl consented to the offence.

Every one is liable to two years' imprisonment who has or attempts to have unlawful carnal knowledge of any woman or girl known by him to be an idiot, imbecile, or lunatic.

Every married person who commits adultery shall be liable to imprisonment for six months or to a fine of fifty pounds.

Every man who commits adultery with a woman whom he knows to be married shall be liable to imprisonment for six months or to a fine of fifty pounds.

Every one is liable to two years' imprisonment who, with intent to procure the miscarriage of any woman or girl, unlawfully administers to or causes to be taken by her any poison or other noxious thing, or unlawfully uses any instrument or other means whatsoever with the like intent.

Every woman or girl is liable to one year's imprisonment who, whether with child or not, unlawfully administers to herself or permits to be administered to her any poison or other noxious thing, or unlawfully uses on herself or permits to be used on her any instrument or other means whatsoever with intent to procure miscarriage.
