gazetting thereof, the Governor-General may, by a subsequent Proclamation or Order in Council gazetted, revoke the former Proclamation or Order in Council either wholly or so far as he thinks necessary:
And whereas it is found that the additional land in Blocks V and II, Toetoes Survey District, taken for the Catlins-Seaward Bush Railway (Tokanui Section) by a Proclamation made under the Public Works Act, 1908, dated the twenty-eighth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and eighteen (hereinafter termed “the said Proclamation”), and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 162, pages 3870/1, of the fifth day of December, one thousand nine hundred and eighteen, is not now required for the purpose for which it was taken:
And whereas compensation in respect of the land taken by the said Proclamation has not been paid or awarded:
Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in me by the Public Works Amendment Act, 1909, and of all other powers enabling me in this behalf, do hereby revoke the said Proclamation.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, Member of His Majesty’s Most Honourable Privy Council, Knight Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Knight Grand Cross of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire, Member of the Royal Victorian Order, Knight of Justice of the Order of Saint John of Jerusalem, Governor-General and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty’s Dominion of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Dominion, at the Government House at Wellington, this sixteenth day of January, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and twenty.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section eleven of the Land Act, 1908, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby, with the consents of the owners of the land described in the First Schedule hereto, and of the Wairoa County Council, being the local authority in whose district the said land is situated, proclaim as a road the land in Nuhaka Survey District described in the First Schedule hereto; and also do hereby, with the like consents as aforesaid, proclaim as closed the road described in the Second Schedule hereto.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section eleven of the Land Act, 1908, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby, with the consents of the owner and lessees of the land described in the Schedule hereto, and of the Waikohu County Council, being the local authority in whose district the said land is situated, proclaim as a road the land in Mangatu Survey District described in the Schedule hereto.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land proclaimed as a road: 3 acres 3 roods 31 perches.
Being portion of Lot 2, Sub. 10, Mangatu No. 1 Block, situated in Block I, Mangatu Survey District (Poverty Bay R.D.).
In the Hawke’s Bay Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 45698, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red.
