HIS Excellency the Governor-General has been pleased to approve of the appointments, promotions, resignations, transfers, and retirements of the undermentioned officers of the Regiment of Royal N.Z. Artillery, N.Z. Permanent Staff, and Territorial Forces, and reposting of officers from the N.Z. Expeditionary Force to the Territorial Force.
APPOINTMENTS AND PROMOTIONS.
THE REGIMENT OF ROYAL N.Z. ARTILLERY.
The undermentioned Lieutenants (temp. Captains) relinquish the temporary rank of Captain :-
Ronald Stuart Park. Dated 3rd April, 1920.
William Orton Bradley. Dated 31st March, 1920.
With reference to the notice published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 125, of 23rd October, 1919, relating to Lieutenant (late Captain, N.Z.E.F.) William Orton Bradley, add the words “and retains the rank of Captain (temp.) until further notice. Dated 21st July, 1919.”
Honorary Captain (temp.) Henry Alexander Wilson, D.C.M., relinquishes the honorary rank of Captain, and is granted the honorary rank of Lieutenant, in accordance with General Headquarters Instructions No. 23, of 20th February, 1920. Dated 31st March, 1920.
N.Z. PERMANENT STAFF.
Honorary Lieutenant George Sandham, M.C., is temporarily attached for duty with the N.Z. Army Medical Department. Dated 1st February, 1920.
3RD (AUCKLAND) MOUNTED RIFLES.
Lieutenant William Titley Palmer to be Captain. Dated 27th August, 1919.
4TH (WAIKATO) MOUNTED RIFLES.
2nd Lieutenant (temp.) Francis Bertram Mitford Gibbison is appointed 2nd Lieutenant (on probation), under the provisions of General Headquarters Instructions No. 28, of 14th July, 1919. Dated 3rd September, 1918.
10TH (NELSON) MOUNTED RIFLES.
Lieutenant Alexander James Maclaine (Reserve of Officers) ceases to be attached for duty to the Regiment. Dated 31st March, 1920.

Major John Wallace Brunt relinquishes the appointment of Camp Commandant, Featherston Military Camp, to date 9th April, 1920, and is demobilized. Dated 7th May, 1920.

The Reverend Harold James Ralph to be Chaplain to the Forces, 4th Class. Dated 23rd March, 1920.
