Under no circumstances shall an officer be advanced (a) beyond £180 and (b) beyond £220 until he has given satisfactory proof to the Commissioner of his efficiency.

  • A lodging-allowance is not payable where the salary is granted in accordance with section 26 of the Public Service Act, 1912, except where the salary would otherwise be at the rate of £95 per annum.
