Land in Auckland Land District declared to be subject to Section 127 of the Land Act, 1908.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS the Land Board of the Auckland Land District has recommended that the Crown tenant of the land enumerated in the Schedule hereto should be afforded relief, owing to exceptional circumstances over which he has no control preventing the profitable occupation of such land:

Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred upon me by section twenty-five of the Reserves and other Lands Disposal and Public Bodies Empowering Act, 1911, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare the land enumerated in the Schedule hereto to be subject to the provisions of section one hundred and twenty-seven of the Land Act, 1908; and I do further fix one year from the date mentioned in the said Schedule as the period for which the said land shall be exempt from payment of rent.

AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.

SECTION 9, Block XIV, Wharepapa Survey District: 1st January, 1920.

Revoking the Reservation over Portion of a Scenic Reserve in the Marlborough Land District.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS by Proclamation dated the first day of August, one thousand nine hundred and twelve, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the eighth day of that month, certain land in the Marlborough Land District was set apart for scenic purposes under the Scenery Preservation Act, 1908:

And whereas the land described in the Schedule hereto (being part of the land so set apart) is no longer suitable for scenic purposes, being open or scrub land:

Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred upon me by section eight of the Scenery Preservation Amendment Act, 1910, do hereby revoke the reservation for scenic purposes over the land described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that area in the Marlborough Land District, being originally portion of Section 4, Block VIII, Linkwater Survey District, and now known as Section 18, Block VIII aforesaid, containing by admeasurement an area of 13 acres 1 rood 25 perches. Bounded towards the north and north-east by the remaining portion of Section 4 aforesaid, 1181·7 links; towards the south-east by a public road one chain wide from high-water mark along the shore of Shakespeare Bay; towards the south by Sections 1 and 40, Block XII, Linkwater Survey District, 680 links; and towards the west generally by the Picton Grove Road, 2202·4 links: be all the aforesaid linkage; more or less. As the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 4/260,
deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

A PROCLAMATION.

BY virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by section two hundred and eight of the Land Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority enabling me in that behalf, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby declare that the pastoral lands mentioned in the Schedule hereto shall be subject to the provisions of sections two hundred and eight to two hundred and twenty-two of Part V of the Land Act, 1908, and amendments thereto, relating to small grazing-runs.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS by section fourteen of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1914, it is provided, inter alia, that on being satisfied that the purchase of any Native land has been duly completed by or on behalf of the Crown under the authority of the Native Land Act, 1909, the Governor-General may issue a Proclamation that such land has become Crown land:

And whereas the purchase of the Native land set out in the Schedule hereto has been duly completed by or on behalf of the Crown under the authority of the Native Land Act, 1909:

Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority so conferred upon me by section fourteen of
