NOTICE OF DISSOLUTION.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership heretofore existing between GEORGE HICKMOTT and GEORGE WILLIAM STANILAND, carrying on business at Christchurch as Brewers, Maltsters, and Bottlers, under the style or firm of “Vincent and Co.,” has been dissolved by mutual consent as from the twenty-second day of March, 1920.
All debts due to and owing by the said late firm will be received and paid respectively by the said GEORGE HICKMOTT, who will continue to carry on the said business solely.

IN pursuance of an application to the Supreme Court of New Zealand at Auckland by a company called the Aerated Machines (Limited) for approval of a change of the name of the said company to TATTLEY AND PEMBERTON (LIMITED), notice is hereby given that at a sitting of the said Court on Friday, the 19th day of March, 1920, the said change was approved.

ELTHAM BOROUGH COUNCIL.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.—LOAN OF £10,000.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, the Council of the Borough of Eltham hereby resolves as follows:—
That, for the purpose of providing the interest, sinking fund, and other charges on a loan of £10,000, authorized to be raised by the Council of the Borough of Eltham, under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of erecting workers’ dwellings, and the payment of the first year’s interest and all preliminary expenses, the said Council of the Borough of Eltham hereby makes and levies a special rate of seven-sixteenths (7/16ths) of a penny (1d.) in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Borough of Eltham, comprising the whole of the Borough of Eltham; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 31st day of March in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 36½ years from the date of such loan, or until the loan is fully paid off.

ELTHAM BOROUGH COUNCIL.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.—LOAN OF £4,000.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, the Council of the Borough of Eltham hereby resolves as follows:—
That, for the purpose of providing the interest, sinking fund, and other charges on a loan of £4,000, authorized to be raised by the Council of the Borough of Eltham, under the above-mentioned Act, for the purchase and erection of a 45,000 cubic feet gas-holder, construction of tank for same and incidental expenses connected with same, and the payment of the first year’s interest and all preliminary expenses, the said Council of the Borough of Eltham hereby makes and levies a special rate of one-sixth (1/6th) of a penny (1d.) in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Borough of Eltham, comprising the whole of the Borough of Eltham; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 31st day of March in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 36½ years from the date of such loan, or until the loan is fully paid off.

NOTICE is hereby given that by mutual consent the firm of CHRISP AND COLEMAN, Barristers and Solicitors, has been dissolved as from the above date.
Messrs. T. Alston Coleman and A. Trevor Coleman will carry on business in the office of the old firm in Lowe Street, under the name of “Coleman and Coleman.”
Pending the building of new offices adjoining the Poverty Bay Club, Messrs. E. J. Chrisp, Ernest Chrisp, and H. D. Chrisp will carry on business in the office of the late East Coast Commissioner, in Childers Road, opposite the Gisborne Hotel, under the name of “Chrisp and Chrisp.”

WHANGAREI BOROUGH COUNCIL.
INTENTION TO TAKE LAND FOR WIDENING STREETS.
PUBLIC notice is hereby given that the body corporate known as the Mayor, Councillors, and Burgesses of the Borough of Whangarei (hereinafter called “the Council”) proposes, under the Public Works Act, 1908, and its amendments, to execute a certain public work—to wit, the widening of Bank and Water Streets within the Borough of Whangarei; and for the purposes of such public work to take the land described in the Schedule hereto.
And notice is hereby further given that the said Council has caused a survey to be made and a plan to be prepared showing the land required to be taken, together with the names of the owners and occupiers of such land as far as they can be ascertained. A copy of such plan is deposited in the office of the said Council, Bank Street, Whangarei, and is open to inspection by all persons at all reasonable hours.
And notice is also hereby given that all persons affected by the taking of such land are called upon to set forth in writing
