Crown Land set apart for Selection by Discharged Soldiers,
under Ordinary Tenures, in the Auckland Land District.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance of the power and authority conferred upon
me by section three of the Discharged Soldiers Settlement Act, 1915, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the area of Crown land described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same is hereby set apart for selection by discharged soldiers, under the Land Act, 1908.

SCHEDULE.
AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.—CROWN LAND.
SECTION 8, Block XI, Piako Survey District: Area, 243 acres 3 roods.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, Member of His Majesty’s Most Honourable Privy Council, Knight Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Knight Grand Cross of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire, Member of the Royal Victorian Order, Knight of Justice of the Order of Saint John of Jerusalem, Governor-General and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty’s Dominion of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Dominion, at the Government House at Wellington, this thirtieth day of March, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and twenty.

Proclaiming Road-line laid out through Subdivisions of Otiranui Block to be a Public Road.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS the parcel of land described in the Schedule hereto was, by an order of the Native Land Court made on the fourteenth day of December, one thousand nine hundred and fifteen, duly laid out as a road-line, in pursuance of section forty-nine of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1913:

And whereas the said Court is of opinion that the said road-line should be proclaimed as a public road, and a notification to that effect has been forwarded to the Minister of Lands, in terms of section fifty-one of the said Act:

And whereas one month’s notice in writing of the intention to proclaim the said road-line as a public road has been given by the Surveyor-General to the local authority of the district concerned, in terms of section fifteen of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1914:

And whereas it is now expedient that the said road-line should be proclaimed as a public road:

Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section forty-nine of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1913, do hereby proclaim as a public road the road-line described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land proclaimed: 2 acres 0 roods 33 perches.
Being portion of Otiranui No. 4A Block, situated in Block XII, Makotuku Survey District.

In the Wellington Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 49446, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Proclaiming Native Land to be Crown Land under Section 14
of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1914.

A PROCLAMATION

WHEREAS by section fourteen of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1914, it is provided, inter alia, that on being satisfied that the purchase of any Native land has been duly completed by or on behalf of the Crown under the authority of the Native Land Act, 1909, the Governor-General may issue a Proclamation that such land has become Crown land:

And whereas the purchase of the Native land set out in the Schedule hereto has been duly completed by or on behalf of the Crown under the authority of the Native Land Act, 1909:

Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority so conferred upon me by section fourteen of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1914, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim the land set out in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land.

SCHEDULE.
CAPE SURVEY DISTRICT.
TAIHAERE Block, 1892 Act Leases: Sale No. 1, being Subdivision 1, Section 5, Block V; Subdivision 6, Section 7, Block V; and Subdivisions 10, 11, 12, 13, Section 6, Block X, Cape Survey District. — Approximate area, 873 acres 2 roods 21 perches.
