Resignation of Member of House of Representatives for Electoral District of Bruce.

Wellington, 22nd March, 1920.
WHEREAS the House of Representatives is not now in session, and there is no Speaker of the said House: Now, therefore, pursuant to the provisions of the Legislature Act, 1908, His Excellency the Governor-General directs it to be notified that the Honourable Sir James Allen, K.C.B., has, by writing under his hand addressed to the Governor-General, resigned his seat in the House of Representatives for the Electoral District of Bruce; that such resignation was received on the 22nd day of March, 1920; and that the seat is vacant by reason thereof.
