BOROUGH OF TE AWAMUTU.
Result of Poll on Proposal to raise a Loan.
PURSUANT to section 12 of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, I hereby give notice that at a poll of the ratepayers of the Borough of Te Awamutu taken on the 21st day of January, 1920, on the proposal of the Te Awamutu Borough Council to borrow the sum of £10,000 for the purpose of erecting workers’ dwellings, the number of votes recorded for the proposal was 46, and the number of votes recorded against the proposal was 35.
I therefore declare that the proposal was carried.

BRUCE COUNTY COUNCIL.
Result of Poll on Proposal to raise a Loan.
PURSUANT to section 12 of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, I hereby give notice that at a poll of the ratepayers of the Hillend Subdivision of the Balmoral Road District, in the County of Bruce, taken on Friday, the 16th day of January, 1920, on the proposal of the Bruce County Council to borrow the sum of £8,000 for the purpose of forming and metalling roads in the said subdivision of the Balmoral Road District aforesaid, the number of votes recorded for the proposal was 138, and the number of votes recorded against the proposal was 14.
I therefore declare that the proposal was carried.

OPOTIKI COUNTY COUNCIL.
Result of Poll on Proposal to raise a Loan.
PURSUANT to section 12 of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, I hereby give notice that at a poll of the ratepayers of the County of Opotiki taken on the 14th day of January, 1920, on the proposal of the Opotiki County Council to borrow the sum of £800 for the completion of the Kutarere Wharf, buildings, and the Kutarere Landing Road, including construction, fencing, and metalling, the number of votes recorded for the proposal was 29, and the number of votes recorded against the proposal was 0.
I therefore declare that the proposal was carried.

PURSUANT to section 12 of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, I hereby give notice that at a poll of the ratepayers of the Borough of Te Awamutu taken on the 21st day of January, 1920, on the proposal of the Te Awamutu Borough Council to borrow the sum of £2,500 for the purpose of purchasing land as a site for a town hall and offices for the Te Awamutu Borough Council, the number of votes recorded for the proposal was 51, and the number of votes recorded against the proposal was 31.
I therefore declare that the proposal was carried.

WAITOMO COUNTY COUNCIL.
Result of Poll on Proposal to raise a Loan.—Te Kumi-Hangatiki Loan.
PURSUANT to section 12 of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, I hereby give notice that at a poll of the ratepayers of the Te Kumi-Hangatiki Special Rating Area taken on 14th January, 1920, on a proposal of the Waitomo County Council to borrow the sum of £4,500 for reforming, culverting, and metalling roads in the Te Kumi-Hangatiki Special Rating Area, the number of votes recorded for the proposal was 19, and the number of votes against the proposal was 2.
I therefore declare that the proposal was carried.
