Regulations under the Slaughtering and Inspection Act, 1908, amended in respect of Fees payable.—Notice No. 2049.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 20th day of December, 1920.

THE RIGHT HONOURABLE W. F. MASSEY, P.C., PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on him by the Slaughtering and Inspection Act, 1908 (hereinafter termed “the said Act”), His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby amend as set out in the Schedule hereto the regulations under the said Act made by Order in Council dated and gazetted the fifth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and two; and doth hereby declare that this Order in Council shall take effect from the date of the gazetting thereof.
SCHEDULE.

SUBCLAUSE (1) of clause 19 of the said regulations is hereby revoked, and the following substituted in lieu thereof:—
“ (1.) In addition to the foregoing fees there shall be payable in respect of stock slaughtered in an abattoir or meat-export slaughterhouse the inspection fees following, that is to say:—
For every head of cattle .. .. .. 6d.
For every head of calves .. .. .. 1d.
For every head of swine .. .. .. 2d.
For every twelve (or fraction of twelve) sheep or lambs .. .. .. 5d.
“ Provided that the amount payable under this clause shall not be less than £10 in any month during which the Inspector was employed.” -
The table of fees set out in subclause (1) of clause 20 of the said regulations is hereby revoked, and the following substituted in lieu thereof:—
