CYCLE AND MOTOR SUPPLIES (LIMITED).
IN LIQUIDATION.
N OTICE is hereby given, pursuant to section 230 of the Companies Act, 1908, that a general meeting of the members of the above-named company will be held at the offices in Featherston Street, Wellington, of the new company called Cycle and Motor Supplies (Limited), on Monday, the 10th day of January, 1921, at 3 o’clock in the afternoon, for the purpose of having an account laid before them showing the manner in which the winding-up has been conducted and the property of the company disposed of, and of hearing any explanation that may be given by the Liquidator, and to fix the Liquidator’s remuneration, and to authorize and direct the Liquidator to transfer to the purchasing company the profits accrued since the date of the last balance-sheet as profits available for dividend.

N OTICE is hereby given that the Partnership heretofore subsisting between GEORGE JOSEPH CUNNEEN, THOMAS FRANCIS CUNNEEN, EDWARD ERNEST CUNNEEN, and MICHAEL JAMES CUNNEEN, carrying on business as Farmers at Templeton and Broadfields under the style or firm of “Cunneen Brothers,” has been dissolved as from the seventh day of December, 1920.
All debts due to the said late firm will be received by Messrs. Meares, Williams, and Holmes, Solicitors, 98 Gloucester Street, Christchurch, and to whom particulars of all debts owing by the said late firm should be furnished forthwith.

MATAMATA COUNTY COUNCIL.
RESOLUTION STRIKING SPECIAL RATE.
I N pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, and of all other powers (if any) it thereunto enabling, the Matamata County Council hereby resolves as follows:—
That, for the purpose of providing for the payment of interest, sinking fund, and other charges on the Matamata County Council Plant and Machinery Loan of £12,000, 1921, authorized to be raised by the Council, under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of purchasing plant and machinery for road-construction, the said Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one-thirteenth (1/13th) of a penny in the pound sterling on the rateable value (on the basis of the capital value) of all rateable property in the County of Matamata; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the first day of October in each year and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of fifteen years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

OTAMATEA COUNTY COUNCIL.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
I N pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, the Otamatea County Council hereby resolves as follows:—
That, for the purpose of providing the instalments in respect of principal and interest and also the other charges on a loan of £120 (one hundred and twenty pounds), authorized to be raised by the Otamatea County Council, under the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, for the purpose of forming, metalling, and improving the roads in the Whakapirau Riding of the Otamatea County, the said Otamatea County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 1/100th of a penny in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property lying within the Whakapirau Riding of the Otamatea County; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the first day of July in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six years and a half, or until the loan is fully paid off.

PRIVATE COMPANY.—RESOLUTION re VOLUNTARY WINDING-UP.
N OTICE is hereby given that a resolution to the following effect has been signed by all the members of the above company, and entered in the minute-book of the company on the 11th day of December, 1920:—
“Resolved, That the Sedgebrook Brick and Tile Company (Limited) be wound up voluntarily; and that ARTHUR HAWORTH, of Wanganui, Accountant, be appointed Liquidator at a remuneration of £15 15s.

UAWA COUNTY COUNCIL.
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND.
P URSUANT to the Counties Act, 1908, and the Public Works Act, 1908, notice is hereby given that the Uawa County Council proposes, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts, to undertake a certain public work; and for that purpose the lands mentioned in the Schedule hereto are required to be taken. The work to be undertaken is the establishment of a sanitary depot.
Notice is hereby further given that a plan of the land to be taken and of the work to be undertaken is deposited in the public office of the Uawa County Council, Gisborne Farmers’ Co-operative Company’s Buildings, Tolaga Bay, and is open for inspection (without fee) by all persons during office hours.
Any person having any objection to the taking of the lands, or who will be injuriously affected by the execution of the said work, is required to state the objection in writing, and send the writing to the office of the Uawa County Council on or before Wednesday, the 19th day of January, 1921.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of land to be taken is 5 acres 2 roods 12 perches, being part of Allotment 73A, Paremata Block, Block XII, Uawa Survey District; coloured red on plan No. 939.
