BULLER VALLEY COOL STORAGE AND DAIRY
COMPANY (LIMITED).
IN LIQUIDATION.
At an extraordinary general meeting of the members of the above-named company duly convened and held at Westport on the thirteenth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and twenty, the following special resolution was duly passed; and at a subsequent extraordinary general meeting of the members of the said company also duly convened and held at the same place on the 4th day of December, 1920, the following special resolution was duly confirmed, viz:-
"That the company be wound up voluntarily, and Robert Wilkin Olliver, of Westport, be and he is hereby appointed Liquidator for the purpose of such winding-up."

In the matter of the Counties Act, 1908, and in the matter of the Public Works Act, 1908.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Waitomo County Council proposes, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts, to effect certain public works--namely, to acquire and construct and establish a gravel-pit; and for the purposes of such public work the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken.
Notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the public offices of the County Clerk to the said Council situate in Taupiri Street, Te Kuiti, and is open for inspection (without fee) to all persons during the ordinary office hours.
All persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of such land, who have any well-grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said land, must state their objections in writing, and send the same, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the County Clerk at the County Chambers, Taupiri Street, Te Kuiti.

CENTRAL ELECTRIC-POWER BOARD.
IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1913, the Electric-power Boards Act, 1918, and all other Acts and powers (if any) it thereunto enabling, the Central Electric-power Board hereby resolves as follows:-
That, for the purpose of providing for the payment of interest, sinking fund, and other charges on the Central Electric-power Board's Loan of £200,000, authorized to be raised by the Board, under the above-mentioned Acts, for the purpose of reticulation and supplying electric power in the Central Electric-power District, the said Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of three farthings (3d.) in the pound sterling on the rateable value (on the basis of the capital value) of all rateable property in the Central Electric-power District as defined in the New Zealand Gazette dated the 8th day of July, 1920; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of October in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six and one-half (36½) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

PIAKO COUNTY COUNCIL.
RESOLUTION STRIKING SPECIAL RATE.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1913, the Piako County Council hereby resolves as follows:-
That, for the purpose of providing the instalments in respect of principal and interest and also the other charges on a loan of three thousand pounds (£3,000), authorized to be raised by the Piako County Council, under the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1913, for metalling Starky's Road and part of the Tahuroa Road in the Kiwitahi Riding for the first time, the said County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of twopence and one-eighth of a penny (2½d.) in the pound sterling upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Starky's Road Special Rating Area, being bounded as follows,-
Commencing at a point being the western corner of Section 13, Tahuroa No. 2, Block X, Maungakawa S.D.; thence in a north-easterly direction following the northern boundaries of Sections 13, 14, and 15, Tahuroa No. 2, to the most northerly point in Section 15; thence in a south-easterly direction along the boundary of the said Section 15 to the Topehahae Stream; thence following the Topehahae Stream in a generally north-westerly direction for a distance of about two miles to the middle of Section Te Au-o-Waikato 7E; thence due east across Section 7E to the boundary between that section and Te Au-o-Waikato No. 5, being the main road; thence following the main road in a south-easterly direction for about 40 chains; thence in a south-westerly
