tioned between a British subject resident therein and a British
subject resident in England, Scotland, or Ireland, no notice
of the marriage is under the law in force in that part of His
Dominions required on the part of the person resident in
England, Scotland, or Ireland, and that under the said law
the other conditions required by the hereinbefore-recited
section 1 of the Marriage of British Subjects (Facilities) Act,
1915, are fulfilled:
Now, therefore, His Majesty, by virtue and in exercise
of the powers by the above-recited Acts in His Majesty vested,
is pleased, by and with the advice of His Privy Council, to
order, and it is hereby ordered, as follows :—
Section 1 of the Marriage of British Subjects (Facilities)
Act, 1915, shall apply to the part of His Majesty's Do-
minions outside the United Kingdom hereunder men-
tioned :-
New Zealand.
And the Right Honourable Viscount Milner, one of His
Majesty's Principal Secretaries of State, is to give the neces-
sary directions herein accordingly.

Notice to Mariners.—No. 70 of 1920.
AUCKLAND HARBOUR.—DREDGING.
Marine Department,
Wellington, N.Z., 13th December, 1920.
THE Auckland Harbour Board has notified that dredging
is now in progress in connection with the new Prince's
Wharf, and that the dredger No. 121 will be moored 18°
(north 3° east magnetic) about 92 fathoms from the north-
west corner of Hobson Wharf.
The dredger will be moored on the cardinal points with
six moorings, and will work in the direction of Hobson Wharf.
Vessels are warned that they must not pass between the
dredger and Hobson Wharf whilst dredging operations are
being carried out.
The following lights will be exhibited from the dredger
between the hours of sunset and sunrise: Two riding lights,
also one red light on the northern or channel side.

Zealand Pilot,” ninth edition, page 192; “New Zealand
Nautical Almanac,” 1920, page 266.

CROWN LANDS NOTICES.
Land in Hawke's Bay Land District forfeited.

NOTICE is hereby given that the lease of the under-
mentioned land having been declared forfeited by
resolution of the Hawke's Bay Land Board, the said land has
thereby reverted to the Crown, under the provisions of
the Land Act, 1908, and the Discharged Soldiers Settlement
Act, 1915.

HAWKE'S BAY LAND DISTRICT.
S.T.L./S. No. 7.-Section 8s, Watea Settlement; formerly
held by Llewellyn Trevor Rice. Reason for forfeiture: At
selector's request.

Reserve in North Auckland Land District for Lease by Public
Tender.
North Auckland District Lands and Survey Office,

NOTICE is hereby given that written tenders will be
received at this office up to 4 o'clock p.m. on Friday,
the 21st day of January, 1921, for a lease for a term of four-
teen years of the undermentioned reserve. under the provisions
of the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908, and amend-
ments.
SCHEDULE.
Section 56, Waiau Parish, Franklin County: Area, 8 acres
3 roods. Known as the Waiau Cemetery, adjoining the
Whakapara Domain. Minimum annual rental, £1.
CONDITIONS OF LEASE.
- Lease to be for grazing purposes only, and subject to
resumption at six months' notice. - The lessee shall have no right to compensation either for
improvements put on the land or on account of the aforesaid
resumption, or for any other cause; but he may, on the
expiration or sooner determination of the lease, remove all
buildings or fences erected by him, but not otherwise. He
will be expected to plough the whole area and put it down
in grass. - The lessee shall not sublet, transfer, or otherwise dispose
of his interest in the lease without the written consent of the
Commissioner of Crown Lands. - The lessee shall prevent the growth and spread of all
noxious weeds on the land, and he shall with all reasonable
despatch remove, or cause to be removed, all noxious weeds
or plants as may be directed by the Commissioner of Crown
Lands. - The lessee shall discharge all rates, taxes, charges, and
other assessments that may become due and payable. - Rental payments in arrear for two calendar months
shall render the lease liable to termination; or a breach of
covenant in the lease, expressed or implied, shall entitle the
Crown to re-enter and determine the lease. - Tenders to be endorsed on the outside “Tender for
Lease,” and to be accompanied by the first half-year's rent
at the rate tendered, and lease fee of £1 1s. - The highest or any tender not necessarily accepted.
Full particulars may be ascertained on application at this
office.

been lodged with me, and application made to issue a pro-
visional lease, notice is hereby given of my intention to issue
a provisional lease accordingly at the expiration of fourteen
days from the date of the Gazette containing this notice.
