ON the recommendation of the Native Land Purchase Board, referred to in section three hundred and sixty-three of the Native Land Act, 1909, and in exercise of the power in this behalf conferred upon him by that section, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby prohibit, for the period of one year from the date of this Order in Council, all alienation of the Native lands specified in the Schedule hereto other than alienation in favour of the Crown.

Partial Revocation of an Order in Council under Section 296 of the Native Land Act, 1909.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this nineteenth day of January, 1920.

Present :
THE RIGHT HONOURABLE W. F. MASSEY, P.C., PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS by section two hundred and ninety-six of the Native Land Act, 1909, it is enacted that any Order in Council made under Part XVI of that Act, or under Part II of the Native Land Settlement Act, 1907, may be at any time revoked, either wholly or as to any part or parts of the land included therein, by the Governor-General by Order in Council :

And whereas the block or parcel of land known as Tokomaru G 2 became subject, by virtue of an Order in Council dated the thirtieth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and nine, to the provisions of Part XVI of the Native Land Act, 1909 :

And whereas the Tairawhiti District Maori Land Board has recommended that Tokomaru G 2A, being part of such land, be no longer subject to Part XVI aforesaid :

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby revoke the said Order in Council dated the thirtieth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and nine, in so far as such Order in Council affects Tokomaru G 2A.

Revocation of an Order in Council prohibiting all Alienation of certain Native Land other than Alienation in favour of the Crown.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS by section three hundred and sixty-three of the Native Land Act, 1909, it is enacted that any Order in Council made under that section may at any time be varied or revoked :

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority hereinbefore mentioned, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby revoke the Order in Council dated the twentieth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and nineteen, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the twenty-third day of October, one thousand nine hundred and nineteen, affecting the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto.

Revoking Order in Council licensing Arthur Liston Wilson to use and occupy a Part of the Foreshore of the Tamaki River, Hauraki Gulf, as a Site for a Boat-shed.

THE RIGHT HONOURABLE W. F. MASSEY, P.C., PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS by Order in Council dated the thirteenth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and sixteen, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 128, of the sixteenth day of the same month, Arthur Liston Wilson, of Remuera, was licensed to use and occupy a part of the foreshore of the Tamaki River, Hauraki Gulf, for the purpose of erecting thereon a boat-shed : And whereas it is desirable to revoke the said license :

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred upon him by the Harbours Act, 1908, and of all other powers and authorities enabling him in that behalf, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby revoke the hereinbefore-recited Order in Council of the thirteenth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and sixteen, and the rights and privileges thereby conferred, as from the twelfth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and nineteen.

And whereas the Westport Coal Company (Limited), (hereinafter referred to as “the licensee”) desires to erect lines within the area of supply as defined in the Schedule hereto,
