Settlement Land set apart for Disposal by way of Sale or Lease to Discharged Soldiers, under Special Tenures, in the North Auckland Land District.

A PROCLAMATION.

I N pursuance of the power and authority conferred upon me by section four of the Discharged Soldiers Settlement Act, 1915, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the areas of settlement land described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same are hereby set apart and declared open for disposal by way of sale or lease to discharged soldiers, under special tenures, in the manner provided in the said Act.

Proclaiming a Road-line laid out through Kakepuku Block to be a Public Road.

A PROCLAMATION.

W HEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto was, by an order of the Native Land Court made on the first day of July, one thousand nine hundred and nineteen, duly laid off as a road-line, in pursuance of sections forty-nine, fifty, and fifty-two of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1913:

And whereas the said Court is of the opinion that the said road-line should be proclaimed as a public road, and a notification to that effect has been forwarded to the Minister of Lands, in terms of section fifty-one of the said Act:

And whereas one month’s notice in writing of the intention to proclaim the said road-line as a public road has been given by the Surveyor-General to the local authorities of the district concerned, in terms of section fifteen of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1914:

And whereas it is now expedient that the said road-line should be proclaimed as a public road:

Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by sections forty-nine, fifty, and fifty-two of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1913, and in so far as each of these sections is applicable, do hereby proclaim as a public road the road-line described in the Schedule hereto.

APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of land proclaimed:—

3 1 3 Kakepuku Block No. 2c, Section 3 No. 1, Block VIII, Pirongia, and Block V, Puniu Survey Districts; coloured yellow.
1 2 12 Kakepuku Block No. 4b, Block V, Puniu Survey District; coloured blue.
5 3 29 Kakepuku Block No. 2c, Section 5c No. 3, Block V, Puniu Survey District; coloured red.

In the Auckland Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 16/700, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

A PROCLAMATION.

I N pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section eleven of the Land Act, 1908, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby, with the consents of the lessee and mortgagee of the land described in the Schedule hereto, and of the Tauranga County Council, being the local authority in whose district the said land is situated, proclaim as a road the land described in the said Schedule.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land proclaimed as a road: 3 acres 2 roods 14 perches.

Portion of Section 579, Te Papa Parish, Block X, Otane-wainuku Survey District.

In the Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 9/345, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.
