Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of
the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of
the powers conferred by the above-in-part-recited Acts,
and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Execu-
tive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of
the said resolution to the extent hereinbefore mentioned,
subject to the condition that no building, or part of a building,
shall be erected at any time on the northern side of the said
portion of street, within a distance of thirty-three feet of the
centre-line of the said portion of street.
SCHEDULE.
THE northern side of all that portion of Donald McLean
Street, situated in the Wellington Land District, City of
Wellington, to which Lots 92 and 93, D.P. 24, part Section
828, have a frontage. As the said portion of street is more
particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 47453,
deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at
Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon
coloured red.

The North-east Side of Portion of Brownville Crescent, in the
City of Dunedin, exempted from the Provisions of Section 117 of the Public Works Act, 1908, subject to a Condition
as to the Building-line.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this twenty-third
day of December, 1919.
Present :
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by subsection one of section one hundred
and seventeen of the Public Works Act, 1908, it is,
inter alia, provided that the said section shall not apply in
any case where the local authority having control of a
road or street by resolution declares that the provisions
thereof shall not apply to any specified road or street, or any
specified part thereof, and such resolution is approved by
the Governor-General in Council:
And whereas by subsection two of section one hundred and
seventeen of the Public Works Act, 1908, and clause (b) of
subsection one of section thirteen of the Public Works
Amendment Act, 1911, it is provided that such approval may
be either absolute or subject to such conditions with respect
to the building-line as the Governor-General, by Order in
Council, thinks fit to impose, and may refer to one or both
sides of the road or street:
And whereas the Dunedin City Council, the local authority
having control of the portion of street described in the
Schedule hereto, hereinafter referred to as the said portion of
street has passed the following resolution-viz., "That the
Council of the City of Dunedin hereby resolves that the
provisions of section one hundred and seventeen of the
Public Works Act, 1908, shall not apply to that portion of
the public street in the City of Dunedin known as Brownville
Crescent which abuts on Allotment 3 and part of Allot-
ment 2, Block II, Upper Kaikorai District, Maori Hill, as the
same is more particularly shown by yellow colour on the plan
annexed hereto":
And whereas it is deemed expedient that such resolution
should be approved in so far as it refers to the north-east
side of the said portion of street, subject to the condition
hereinafter mentioned:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of
the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise
of the powers conferred by the above-in-part-recited Acts,
and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Execu-
tive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of
the said resolution to the extent hereinbefore mentioned,
subject to the condition that no building, or part of a building,
shall be erected at any time on the north-east side of the
said portion of street, within a distance of thirty-three feet
of the centre-line of the said portion of street.
SCHEDULE.

situated in the Otago Land District, City of Dunedin, abutting
on part Section 8, Block II, Upper Kaikorai District. As the
said portion of street is more particularly delineated on the
plan marked P.W.D. 47577, deposited in the office of the
Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington
Land District, and thereon coloured blue.

the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured pink.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this twenty-third
day of December, 1919.
Present :
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS, in pursuance of the powers vested in the
Governor-General by section three of the Electric-
power Boards Act, 1918, the Thames Valley Electric-power
District was duly constituted by Proclamation dated the
eighteenth day of December, one thousand nine hundred
and nineteen:
And whereas section ten of the said Act provides that the
first election of representatives of any constituent district or
combined district in any electric-power district shall be held
on such day as the Governor-General by Order in Council
appoints:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of
the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice
and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion,
and in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
conferred upon him by the said Act, doth hereby appoint
Wednesday, the eleventh day of February, one thousand
nine hundred and twenty, as the day on which shall be held
the first election of representatives of the constituent districts
and combined district in the said Thames Valley Electric-
power District.
