and in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by the said Act, doth hereby determine with respect to the Te Awamutu Electric-power District as follows:—
(1.) The constituent districts which are bracketed together in the first column of the Schedule hereto are hereby constituted combined districts for the purpose of the said Act.
(2.) The local authority of each constituent district distinguished in the first column of the Schedule hereto by the letter “p” is hereby declared to be the principal local authority of the combined district in which that constituent district is included.
(3.) The number of representatives of each constituent or combined district on the Board of the said district shall be the number specified in the second column of the Schedule hereto opposite the name of that constituent or combined district.

Banks Peninsula Electric-power Board.—First Election.

LIVERPOOL, Governor-General.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this twenty-third day of December, 1919.

Present :

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS, in pursuance of the powers vested in the Governor-General by section three of the Electric-power Boards Act, 1918, the Banks Peninsula Electric-power District was duly constituted by Proclamation dated the twentieth day of December, one thousand nine hundred and nineteen :
And whereas section ten of the said Act provides that the first election of representatives of any constituent district in any electric-power district shall be held on such day as the Governor-General by Order in Council appoints :
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by the said Act, doth hereby appoint Tuesday, the twentieth day of January, one thousand nine hundred and twenty, as the day on which shall be held the first election of representatives of the constituent districts in the said Banks Peninsula Electric-power District.

Cambridge Electric-power Board.—First Election.

And whereas section ten of the said Act provides that the first election of representatives of any constituent district shall be held on such day as the Governor-General by Order in Council appoints :
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by the said Act, doth hereby appoint Wednesday, the eleventh day of February, one thousand nine hundred and twenty, as the day on which shall be held the first election of representatives of the constituent districts in the said Cambridge Electric-power District.

Constituting the Maungakawa Rabbit District.—Notice No. 1989.

LIVERPOOL, Governor-General.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this fifteenth day of December, 1919.

Present :

THE HONOURABLE SIR WILLIAM FRASER PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS by section sixty-nine of the Rabbit Nuisance Act, 1908 (hereinafter termed “the said Act”), as amended by the Rabbit Nuisance Amendment Act, 1918, it is provided that the Governor-General may from time to time, by Order in Council gazetted, on petition in that behalf from a majority of the ratepayers therein, constitute and declare any part of New Zealand defined in such Order in Council a district for the purposes of Part III of the said Act :
And whereas a petition in accordance with the provisions of the said Act has been received, asking that the lands described in the Schedule hereto be constituted and declared a rabbit district for the purposes of Part III of the said Act :
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on him by the said Act and its amendments, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby constitute by the specific name of “The Maungakawa Rabbit District” and declare that part of New Zealand defined in the Schedule hereto to be a district for the purposes of Part III of the said Act, and doth hereby fix the number of members of which the Board of Trustees for the said district shall consist in terms of the said Act at six members.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that parcel of land bounded as follows: Commencing on the Pukemoremore Trig. Station boundary, towards the south-west by the confiscation-line as far as the north-western boundary of the Matamata County; thence towards the south-east by the Matamata County boundary aforesaid to the south-east corner of Allotment 1067; thence towards the east by the eastern boundaries of Allotments 1067, 1065, 1r and 1x, to the north-eastern corner of Lot 1e aforesaid; thence towards the north by the northern boundary of Lot 1e aforesaid to the county road; thence towards the east by the western side of the county road aforesaid as far as the northern boundary of Lot 1o; thence towards the north-west by the northern and western boundaries of Lot 1o aforesaid to the north-eastern corner of Lot 766 (Kiwitahi Block No. 2); thence towards the north by the northern boundary of Kiwitahi Block No. 2 aforesaid and Kiwitahi Block No. 3a as far as its north-western corner; thence towards the west by the north-western boundary of Kiwitahi Block No. 3a aforesaid as far as the easternmost corner of Tahuroa Block No. 1; thence towards the north-eastern boundary of Tahuroa Block No. 1 aforesaid to the southernmost corner of Tahuroa Block No. 2; thence towards the north-west by a line crossing Tahuroa No. 1 aforesaid to the north-eastern corner of Karokaro Block; thence towards the north by the northern boundary of the Karokaro Block aforesaid as far as the block-line, being the eastern boundary of Block I, Cambridge Survey District; thence towards the west following the block-line aforesaid to the northernmost corner of Oiran Block; thence towards the north-west by the north-western boundary of Oiran Block aforesaid to the Pukemoremore Trig. Station, the point of commencement.
