Land set apart for State-forest Purposes in the Auckland Land District.

A PROCLAMATION.
BY virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the State Forests Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority enabling me in that behalf, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, do hereby set apart the forest land described in the Schedule hereto, forming part of the Crown lands in New Zealand, as and for a State forest within the provisions of the said Act.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, containing 4,624 acres, more or less, situated in Blocks VI, VII, and X, Aroha, and III, VII,-and XI, Katikati Survey Districts. Bounded towards the north-east generally by Section 5, Block VI, Aroha Survey District, the abutment of a road, and Section 9, Block VI aforesaid; towards the east generally by the Waitawheta and Waipapa Streams to the source of the latter, thence by a right line to the north-eastern corner of Section 1, Block XII, Aroha Survey District; towards the south by Section 1 aforesaid; towards the west and again towards the south by a State forest reserve (Te Aroha); again towards the west by Section 121, Block IX, Aroha Survey District; towards the north by Section 5, Block VI, Aroha Survey District aforesaid; and again towards the west generally by the Mangapiko Stream: save and except a reservation two chains wide along the Waihi Gold-mining Company’s electric transmission-line which intersects the hereinbefore-described area. As the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 22/1432/5A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken for a portion of the East Coast Main Trunk Railway (Wairoa towards Gisborne), portion of Frasertown Section, and for road-diversions in connection therewith:
And whereas all the conditions precedent required by law to be observed and performed prior to the taking of such land for the purposes hereinbefore specified have been observed and performed:
Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by section one hundred and eighty-eight
