THE NEW ZEALAND GAZETTE.

of the Crown under the authority of the Native Land Act, 1909 :
Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority so conferred upon me by section fourteen of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1914, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim the land set out in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land.
SCHEDULE.
SECTION 57, Block VII, Grant No. 5242, West Coast Settlement Reserves, Waitara Survey District: Approximate area, 100 acres.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, Member of His Majesty’s Most Honourable Privy Council, Knight Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Knight Grand Cross of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire, Member of the Royal Victorian Order, Knight of Grace of the Order of Saint John of Jerusalem, Governor-General and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty’s Dominion of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Dominion, at the Government House at Wellington, this first day of August, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and nineteen.

Altering or amending a Proclamation proclaiming Land as a Road and Closing a Road in Block I, Teviotdale Survey District, Waipara County.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS by section five of the Land Act, 1908, it is therein provided that every Proclamation, Order in Council, and other instrument (whether made under or by virtue of that Act or of any former Land Act), and all regulations, by-laws, conditions, or rules made by the Governor-General, the Minister, or any Land Board, may be altered, amended, or revoked from time to time:
And whereas it is necessary to alter or amend a Proclamation issued under the said Act proclaiming land as a road and closing a road in Block I, Teviotdale Survey District, dated the twenty-ninth day of December, one thousand nine hundred and fifteen, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 2, page 7, of the thirteenth day of the following month, and hereinafter referred to as “the said Proclamation”:
Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority vested in me by the said Act, do hereby alter or amend the said Proclamation as follows—namely, by omitting therefrom the Second Schedule and all reference to the closing of the road mentioned in such Schedule, and by substituting the words “river-bed” for the words “Crown land” wherever they occur in the First Schedule to the said Proclamation.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section eleven of the Land Act, 1908, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby, with the consents of the licensee of the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto, and of the Hobson County Council, being the local authority in whose district the said land is situated, proclaim as a road the land in Tutamoe Survey District described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land proclaimed as a road : 1 acre 2 roods 23·7 perches.
Portion of Section 8, Block XVI, Tutamoe Survey District. (S.O. 20397.)
In the North Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 46347, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section eleven of the Land Act, 1908, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby, with the consents of the lessees of the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto, and of the Southland County Council, being the local authority in whose district the said land is situated, proclaim as a road the land in Lindhurst Hundred described in the Schedule hereto.

In the Southland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 46408, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured pink.
