Notice under the Amending Coal Trade Regulations of 2nd June, 1919.
Office of Minister in Charge of Munitions and Supplies,
Wellington, 23rd July, 1919.
IN pursuance of the power conferred on me in this behalf by the Coal Trade
Regulations and the amendments thereof, I hereby declare that the exemption
from the requirement of a permit provided for by subclause (2) of clause 5 of the
amending Coal Trade Regulations of 2nd June, 1919, shall not apply within the
Boroughs of Lower Hutt and Petone after the 28th day of July, 1919; and I hereby
notify accordingly that as from that date it shall not be lawful for any person to
deliver or be concerned in the delivery of any coal (whether for domestic or other
purposes) at any place within the said boroughs save in pursuance of a permit issued
by the Wellington Coal Trade Committee.
