NOTICE UNDER THE PUBLIC WORKS ACT, 1908.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Education Board of the District of Auckland intends to erect a public school, and to take, under the provisions of the Public Works Act, 1908, for the purposes of a public school the following land, namely: All that piece of land situated in the One-Tree Hill Road District, containing four acres, more or less, lying between Wheturangi Road and Greenlane, and being part of Allotment Ten of Section Twelve of the Suburbs of Auckland.
A plan of the said land is deposited at the office of the One-Tree Hill Road Board, in the said road district, and is there open for inspection by all persons at all reasonable hours.
All persons affected are hereby required and called upon to set forth in writing any well-grounded objections to the erection of a public school on the said land or to the taking of such lands, and to send such writing, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the Education Board of the District of Auckland, at its office in Williamson’s Chambers, Shortland Street, Auckland.

DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.
THE Auctioneering, Stock and Station Agency, and Land Agency business Partnership carried on for the past ten years by the undersigned JOHN BEAUMONT THOMPSON and HAROLD TANTON THOMPSON, under the style of “John Thompson,” in the County of Tuapeka, N.Z., has been agreed by them to be dissolved as from the first day of July, 1919. The Auctioneering, Stock and Station Agency, and Land Agency business will in future be carried on at Lawrence by JOHN BEAUMONT THOMPSON alone, under the style of “John Thompson” as formerly.
All debts due to the said firm to be paid to the said John Beaumont Thompson, and all debts due by the said firm will be paid by the said John Beaumont Thompson.

DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership heretofore existing between EDWARD FAHEY and JAMES WILSON, both of Te Akau, in the Provincial District of Auckland, Farmers, carrying on business at Te Akau aforesaid as Farmers, under the style or firm of “Fahey and Wilson,” has been dissolved by mutual consent as from the 1st day of July, 1919; and that all debts due to and owing by the late firm shall be received and paid by the said EDWARD FAHEY.

RANGITIKEI COUNTY COUNCIL.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.—LOAN OF £800.—ONEPUHI BRIDGE.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, and section 119 of the Public Works Act, 1908, and by virtue of a Warrant dated the 26th day of March, 1919, issued under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General under the provisions of the said section 119, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the 27th day of March, 1919, and of every other power it hereunto enabling, the Rangitikei County Council hereby resolves as follows:—
That, for the purpose of providing the instalments in respect of principal and interest and also the other charges on a loan of £800, authorized to be raised by the Rangitikei County Council by special order, under the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, for the purpose of paying the Council’s share of the cost of constructing an extension of a bridge over the Rangitikei River at Onepuhi, including an approach road at the eastern end, the said Rangitikei County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one five-hundredth of a penny (1/500d.) in the pound sterling upon the rateable value (on the basis of the capital value) of all rateable property within the whole of the County of Rangitikei, exclusive of the Town District of Lethbridge; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the first day of May in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six years and a half, or until the loan is fully paid off.
I, Bennet Perry Lethbridge, Chairman of the Rangitikei County Council, do hereby certify that the above is a true copy of a resolution passed at a special meeting of the said Council held on the 3rd day of July, 1919.

RANGITIKEI COUNTY COUNCIL.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.—LOAN OF £100.—OTAIHAPE VALLEY.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, the Rangitikei County Council hereby resolves as follows:—
That, for the purpose of providing the instalments in respect of principal and interest and also the other charges on a further loan of £100, being ten per centum additional on the original loan of £1,000, authorized to be raised by the Rangitikei County Council, under the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, for the purpose of deviating, forming, and culverting the Otaihape Valley Road from the end of the present formation at the west boundary of Section 69, Block XIV, Ohinewairua Survey District, to Awarua 4c 15f No. 3 Block, and surveying, forming, gravelling, culverting, and bridging Baird’s Road from the Otaihape Valley Road to the Otaihape Stream, the said Rangitikei County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one-fifth of a penny (1/5d.) in the pound sterling upon the rateable value (on the basis of the capital value) of all rateable property of the Otaihape Valley Special Rating District as described on page 588 of the New Zealand Gazette of the 21st February, 1918, and comprising Awarua 4c 15B (172 acres 3 roods), Awarua 4c 15c (61 acres 2 roods), Awarua 4c 15D (64 acres 2 roods), Awarua 4c 15F No. 4 (204 acres), Awarua 4c 15E (274 acres), Awarua 4c 15F No. 3 (140 acres 2 roods), Awarua 4c 15F No. 5 (270 acres 2 roods), in Blocks XIII and XIV, Ohinewairua Survey District, and I and II, Hautapu Survey District, also Section (P.E.R.) 15, Block I, Hautapu Survey District (384 acres), and the portion of the road reserve along the right bank of the Otaihape Stream extending from the west boundary of Section 69, Block XIV, Ohinewairua Survey District, in an easterly direction for a distance
