Trustee for the South Malvern Public Cemetery appointed.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by section four of the Cemeteries Act, 1908, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby appoint

THOMAS SHEPLEY KESTEVEN

to be a trustee, in the place of Arthur Burkitt, who has resigned, to provide for the maintenance and care of the South Malvern Public Cemetery, in conjunction with Thomas Brown, William Watson, Alexander McNie Wilson, and Charles George Marsh, previously appointed.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, this eighth day of July, one thousand nine hundred and nineteen.

Inspector of Machinery, &c., appointed.

THE Public Service Commissioner has made the following appointment in the Public Service:—

to be an Inspector of Machinery for the purposes of the Inspection of Machinery Act, 1908, and a Surveyor of Ships and Examiner of Engineers for the purposes of the Shipping and Seamen Act, 1908, as from the 24th day of June, 1919.
