VII: £65 to £95 by increments of £15. Then by one increment of £25 to £120, and £20 to £140, and £25 to £165, and £15 to £180. Thereafter £180 to £270 by increments of £20 per annum.

Under no circumstances shall an officer be advanced (a) beyond £180 and (b) beyond £220 until he has given satisfactory proof to the Commissioner of his efficiency.
