MENTAL HOSPITALS DEPARTMENT.

NOTE.—Where the services of attendants who have not passed the Junior Examination at the end of their first year, and do not pass this examination until after eighteen months' service, are retained, the first increment of salary will date from the passing of the examination, and subsequent increments from the anniversary thereof.
