Appointment of Members of the Board of Land Purchase Commissioners.

NOTICE is hereby given that in exercise of the powers conferred in this behalf by section 4 of the Land for Settlements Act, 1908, as amended by section 38 of the Land Laws Amendment Act, 1914, I have this day appointed

JOHN EDWARD WELLS, of Okaihau, North Auckland;
OSCAR MONRAD, of Palmerston North, Wellington;
ARTHUR JOHN MURRAY, Kekerangu, Marlborough; and GEORGE MACMAHON, of Tapawera, Nelson;

to be members of the Board of Land Purchase Commissioners constituted under the Land for Settlements Act, 1908, for the period ending 31st March, 1921.

to be a member of the Napier Harbour Board, in place of Alfred Luther Beattie, resigned.

IT is hereby notified for public information that the Mount Eden Borough Council has, by special order, declared gorse (Ulex europaeus) and fennel (Foeniculum vulgare) to be noxious weeds within the meaning of the Noxious Weeds Act, 1908, in the district under its jurisdiction.
