Declaring Portion of Marakopa River to Mahoenui Road, in the Waitomo County, to be a County Road.

At the Government House at Wellington, this seventeenth day of June, 1919.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become a county road.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that portion of the Marakopa River to Mahoenui Road, situated in the Auckland Land District, Waitomo County, commencing at its junction with Mangaotaki Valley Lower Road, and running generally in a westerly direction, adjoining or passing through Section 3, Block VI, Maungamangero Survey District, to the south-eastern corner of Section 8, Block VI, Maungamangero Survey District ; being a distance of fifty chains, more or less. As the said portion of road is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 46185, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red.

Domain Board appointed to have Control of the Mackaytown Domain.

At the Government House at Wellington, this twenty-fourth day of June, 1919.

Present :
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS by section forty of the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908 (hereinafter termed “the said Act”), it is enacted that the Governor-General may from time to time, with respect to any public domain, appoint such persons (not exceeding nine) as he thinks fit to be a Domain Board having, subject to Part II of the said Act, control of such domain :
And whereas by an Order in Council made on the twenty-first day of May, one thousand nine hundred and twelve, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the thirtieth day of May, one thousand nine hundred and twelve, a Domain Board was appointed to control the Mackaytown Domain :
And whereas the period for which the said Board was appointed expired on the twentieth day of May, one thousand nine hundred and nineteen :
And whereas it appears expedient to again appoint a Domain Board to control the said domain :
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers conferred by the said Act, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint

ARTHUR DAVID McGUIRE,
FREDERICK LADNER,
SAMUEL DICKEY,
SYDNEY ROBERT RAY,
WILLIAM BUNTING,
HERBERT ALFRED NEIL, and
DAVID THOMSON AITKEN,

as from the twenty-first day of May, one thousand nine hundred and nineteen, to be the Mackaytown Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto for the purposes of and subject to the provisions of the said Act ; and doth hereby appoint Monday, the twenty-first day of July, one thousand nine hundred and nineteen, at half past seven o’clock p.m., as the time when, and the Miners’ Union Hall, Karangahake, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

SCHEDULE.

MACKAYTOWN DOMAIN.

ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 15 acres 1 rood 14 perches, more or less, being Sections 1 and 2 of Block VII, Mackaytown. Bounded towards the north-east by the abutment of a public road and Section 15, Block XIII, Ohinemuri Survey District, 452·8 and 441·5 links ; towards the south-east generally by the main road and a public road 100 links wide, 1053·6, 582·1, and 993·7 links ; and towards the west generally by the Ohinemuri River : be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. As the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 1022, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red. (Auckland plan 11618, blue.)

Also all that area in the Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 2 acres 0 roods 18·3 perches, more or less, being portion of land known as Corne’s Agricultural Lease, Block I, Aroha Survey District, and Block XIII, Ohinemuri Survey District. Bounded towards the north generally by a public road, 180 and 126·4 links ; towards the north-east by the New Zealand Crown Mines Special Site, 592·25 links ; towards the south-east by water-pipe reserve, 343 links ; and towards the south-west by a public road, 725·1 links : be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. As the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 1/29, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red. (Auckland plan No. 11618.)

GEORGE GEOFFREY FRIEND,

as from the twenty-sixth day of February, one thousand nine hundred and nineteen, to be the Okarito Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto for the purposes of and subject to the provisions of the said Act ; and doth hereby appoint Wednesday, the twenty-third day of July, one thousand nine hundred and nineteen, at eight o’clock p.m., as the time when, and Patrick’s Hall, Okarito, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.
