Land taken for the Purposes of a Road in Block V,
Paekakariki Survey District, Hutt County.
[L.S.] LIVERPOOL, Governor-General.
A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken, under the Public Works Act, 1908, for a certain public work—to wit, for the purposes of a road in Block V, Paekakariki Survey District, Hutt County: And whereas the Hutt County Council has laid before the Governor-General a memorial, accompanied by a map and also the statutory declaration, as required by the said Act:
Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, and the Counties Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of a road; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the fifth day of July, one thousand nine hundred and nineteen.

SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 1 rood 9 perches.
Portion of part 3A 3, Pukerua Block, Block V, Paekakariki Survey District.
In the Wellington Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 45218, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured blue.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, Member of His Majesty’s Most Honourable Privy Council, Knight Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Knight Grand Cross of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire, Member of the Royal Victorian Order, Knight of Grace of the Order of Saint John of Jerusalem, Governor-General and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty’s Dominion of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Dominion, at the Government House at Wellington, this fourth day of June, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and nineteen.

Land taken for the Purposes of a Public School in Block VI,
Opunake Survey District, Egmont County.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken, under the Public Works Act, 1908, for a certain public work—to wit, for the purposes of a public school in Block VI, Opunake Survey District, Egmont County:
And whereas the Taranaki Education Board has laid before the Governor-General a memorial, accompanied by a map (in duplicate), and also the statutory declaration, as required by the said Act:
Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Education Act, 1914, and the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of the said public school, and shall vest in the Education Board of the District of Taranaki as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twelfth day of July, one thousand nine hundred and nineteen.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 2 acres.
Portion of Sub. 12, Ngatikahumate Block, Block VI, Opunake Survey District (Taranaki R.D.).
In the Taranaki Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 45967, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured pink.

Consenting to stopping a Road in Blocks XV and XVI,
Awaroa Survey District, Raglan County.
LIVERPOOL, Governor-General.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this seventeenth day of June, 1919.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by section one hundred and thirty-three (a) of the Public Works Act, 1908, it is enacted that a local authority shall not declare any county road or district road to be stopped until the consent thereto of the Governor-General, by Order in Council gazetted, is obtained:
And whereas the Raglan County Council has applied for such consent in respect of the road described in the Schedule hereto:
Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the above-in-part-recited Act, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby consent to the Raglan County Council stopping the road described in the Schedule hereto.
