Incorporated Societies Act, 1908.—Declaration by the Registrar dissolving a Society.
I, ROBERT EDWARD HAYES, Registrar of Incorporated Societies, do hereby declare that, as it has been made to appear to me that the Caledonian Society of Wellington, N.Z., is no longer carrying on its operations and has no assets, the aforesaid society is hereby dissolved, in pursuance of section 28 of the Incorporated Societies Act, 1908.

Exportation of Potatoes.
Customs Department,
Wellington, 23rd May, 1919.
WITH reference to the Order in Council made on the 10th February last, and gazetted on the 13th idem, prohibiting the exportation of potatoes save with the consent of the Minister of Customs, it is hereby notified for public information that the Minister of Customs is prepared to consider applications to export potatoes.
Applications should be made to the Comptroller of Customs, Wellington, and should state the quantity of potatoes it is desired to export.
Any permits granted will be issued on the understanding that the potatoes are shipped on the exporting vessel on or before 30th June, 1919.

MANUKAU HARBOUR.—SOUTH CHANNEL UNWORKABLE.—LEADING-LIGHTS DISCONTINUED.

NOTICE is hereby given that the South Channel into Manukau Harbour has practically closed up, and the leading-lights on North and South Heads for this channel will be discontinued on and after 1st June, 1919. The light on North Head used for the Main Channel will continue.
Charts, &c., affected.—Admiralty Charts Nos. 2535, 2543, and 2726; “New Zealand Pilot,” eighth edition, 1908, Chapter vii, page 213; “New Zealand Nautical Almanac,” 1919, page 319, and plan facing page 318.

NOTICE is hereby given that the leases and licenses of the undermentioned lands having been declared forfeited by resolution of the Auckland Land Board, the said lands have thereby reverted to the Crown under the provisions of the Land Act, 1908, and the Discharged Soldiers Settlement Act, 1915.

NOTICE is hereby given that written tenders will be received at this office up to 4 o’clock p.m. on Friday, the 27th June, 1919, for a lease of the undermentioned reserve, in terms of the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908.
SCHEDULE.
NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.
TIRITIRI Island (part): Area, 344 acres 2 roods 6 perches; minimum annual rental, £30.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF LEASE.

Term of lease, ten years, for grazing purposes only, as from 1st July, 1919.

Rental payable half-yearly in advance. The first half-year’s rental at the rate tendered, together with one guinea lease fee, to be deposited with tender.

No compensation allowed at any time for any improvements effected by the lessee.

The lessee shall not at any time cut down or otherwise destroy any pohutukawa or any other large trees growing on the reserve, and no burnings shall take place without the sanction of the principal lighthouse-keeper being first obtained.

The Crown reserves the right to resume at any time any portion or portions of the area leased that may be required for lighthouse or other public purposes, upon giving notice of the same in writing to the lessee; and thereupon a proportionate reduction in rent shall be allowed, but no compensation shall be claimed or allowed by reason of such resumption.

No right to underlet or part with possession of the land leased, or any part thereof, without the consent of the Commissioner first had and obtained.

Full rights of ingress, egress, and regress reserved to the Crown to authorized persons, and the right to take therefrom any material necessary for road-works.

The right shall be reserved to the lighthouse-keepers to gather from any part of the island manuka scrub for fuel or for the purpose of mending fences.

The lessee shall discharge all rates, taxes, and charges, and other assessments that may become payable.
