Lieutenant (temp. Captain) A. J. Farnell relinquishes the temporary rank of Captain on ceasing to perform the duties of Company Commander, 3rd (Reserve) Battalion. Dated 3rd December, 1918.

Lieutenant (temp. Captain) A. C. C. Hunter, M.C., relinquishes the temporary rank of Captain on Major J. B. Le Mottee rejoining the Battalion. Dated 7th December, 1918.

The notification published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 13 of the 16th February, 1919, relating to Major (now Lieutenant-Colonel) A. D. Stitt, D.S.O., M.C., being granted the temporary rank of Lieutenant-Colonel is cancelled, and the notice appearing in the same Gazette relating to his promotion to Lieutenant-Colonel should read “1st December, 1918,” and not as therein stated.
