Land proclaimed as a Road in Block II, Mangamuka Survey District, Hokianga County.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section eleven of the Land Act, 1908, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby, with the consents of the owners and mortgagees of the land described in the Schedule hereto, and of the Hokianga County Council, being the local authority in whose district the said land is situated, proclaim as a road the land in Mangamuka Survey District described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of land proclaimed as a road :—

0 0 5·7 " 2A " purple.

Situated in Block II, Mangamuka Survey District. (S.O. 20297.)

In the Auckland Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 45615, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, Member of His Majesty's Most Honourable Privy Council, Knight Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Knight Grand Cross of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire, Member of the Royal Victorian Order, Knight of Grace of the Order of Saint John of Jerusalem, Governor-General and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty's Dominion of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Dominion, at the Government House at Wellington, this twenty-seventh day of March, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and nineteen.

Appointing a Trustee for Management of Wharf at Waitangi, Chatham Islands.

LIVERPOOL, Governor-General.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this twenty-fifth day of March, 1919.

Present :

THE HONOURABLE SIR JAMES ALLEN, K.C.B., PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS by Order in Council dated the eighth day of December, one thousand nine hundred and thirteen, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 88, of the eleventh day of the same month, the management of the wharf at Waitangi, Chatham Islands, was vested in Messrs. Charles Wishart, Thomas Patrick G. Miller, James J. Fougere, and Franz Regnault, as trustees for the inhabitants of the district :

And whereas Thomas Patrick G. Miller resigned his position as trustee, and Mr. Thomas Ritchie was appointed a trustee in his place :

And whereas the said Thomas Ritchie resigned his position as trustee, and Henry Grennell, Senior, was appointed a trustee in his place :

And whereas the said James J. Fougere has resigned his position as trustee, and it is desirable to appoint another person in his place :

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the power conferred upon him by the Harbours Act, 1908, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint Henry Daymond to be a trustee in conjunction with Charles Wishart, Franz Regnault, and Henry Grennell, Senior, for the management of the said wharf at Waitangi, Chatham Islands.

Consenting to an Alienation of Native Land subject to the Thermal Springs Districts Act, 1910.

LIVERPOOL, Governor-General.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this twenty-ninth day of March, 1919.

Present :

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS by subsection two of section three of the Thermal Springs Districts Act, 1910 (hereinafter referred to as “the said Act”), it is provided, inter alia, that where any Native land is or has been subject to the said Act, and has situated thereon or contiguous thereto any thermal or mineral spring, river, stream, lake, pool, geyser, or other thermal or mineral water, no alienation of that land shall be confirmed or effected by a Maori Land Board without the precedent consent of the Governor-General in Council :

And whereas application has been made, and the Waiariki District Maori Land Board recommends, that the precedent consent of the Governor-General in Council be granted to enable confirmation of an alienation by way of sale of the land described in the Schedule hereto :

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby consent to the confirmation of an alienation by way of sale of the land described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that piece of land known as Taheke No. 2B. Block, containing 232 acres 3 roods 15 perches, more or less; situate in Block XI, Rotoiti Survey District, in the Auckland Land District.

Consenting to stopping a Road in Block IV, Kaeo Survey District, Whangaroa County.

LIVERPOOL, Governor-General.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this twenty-ninth day of March, 1919.

Present :

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS by section one hundred and thirty-three (a) of the Public Works Act, 1908, it is enacted that a local authority shall not declare any county road or district road to be stopped until the consent thereto of the Governor-General, by Order in Council gazetted, is obtained :

And whereas the Whangaroa County Council has applied for such consent in respect of the road described in the Schedule hereto :

Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the above-in-part-recited Act, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby consent to the Whangaroa County Council stopping the road described in the Schedule hereto.
