Proclaiming Native Land to be Crown Land, and revoking
a Previous Proclamation under Section 14 of the Native
Land Amendment Act, 1914.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS by section fourteen of the Native Land
Amendment Act, 1914, it is provided, inter alia,
that on being satisfied that the purchase of any Native land
has been duly completed by or on behalf of the Crown under
the authority of the said Act the Governor-General may
issue a Proclamation that such land has become Crown land :
And whereas it is further provided that any such Proclama-
tion made in error may be at any time amended or revoked
by the Governor-General :
And whereas the purchase of the Native land set out in
the second part of the Schedule hereto has been duly com-
pleted by or on behalf of the Crown under the authority of
the said Act :
And whereas the Proclamation referred to in the first part
of the Schedule hereto was made in error as to part :
Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the power
and authority conferred upon me by section fourteen of the
Native Land Amendment Act, 1914, I, Arthur William de
Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor-General of the
Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby revoke the Proclama-
tion referred to in the first part of the Schedule hereto, and in
its stead do hereby proclaim the land mentioned in the
second part of the said Schedule to be Crown Land.

FIRST PART.
PROCLAMATION under section 14 of the Native Land Amend-
ment Act, 1914, dated 19th October, 1918, and published in
the New Zealand Gazette dated 7th November, 1918, declaring
Orakei No. 3B No. 1 and other Orakei blocks to be Crown
land.

Lease to Discharged Soldiers, under Special Tenures, in
the Auckland Land District.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance of the power and authority conferred upon
me by section four of the Discharged Soldiers Settle-
ment Act, 1915, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of
Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New
Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the area of
Crown land described in the Schedule hereto shall be and
the same is hereby set apart and declared open for disposal
by way of sale or lease to discharged soldiers, under special
tenures, in the manner provided in the said Act.
