Special Order made by the Piako County Council altering Boundaries of Ridings.

THE following special order, made by the Piako County Council, is published in accordance with the provisions of the Counties Act, 1908.

PIAKO COUNTY COUNCIL.
Special Order adopted by the Piako County Council at a Special Meeting held on the 20th Day of January, 1919, and confirmed at a Subsequent Ordinary Meeting held on the 17th day of February, 1919.
IN pursuance of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Counties Act, 1908, and of every other power enabling it in that behalf, the Piako County Council hereby resolves as follows :—
That that piece of land described in the Schedule hereunder, at present contained in the Manawaru Riding of the Piako County, shall be included in the Waihou Riding of the said county, the boundaries of the two ridings to be amended as per descriptions hereunder.
The special order to come into force on the 1st day of April, 1920.

SCHEDULE.
Area to be excluded from the Manawaru Riding, and included in the Waihou Riding :—
All that area in the Auckland Land District, situated in the Piako County, commencing at the westernmost corner of Section 8A, Block VIII, Maungakawa Survey District. Bounded towards the north-west by the Waihekau No. 2 Block, across a public road, and by Waihekau No. 4 Block; towards the north-east by the Piraunui Stream to the northern boundary of Hungahunga No. 2 Block; thence by the said northern boundary of Hungahunga No. 2 Block to the north-east corner of Lot 1 of subdivision of Allotment 7, Hungahunga No. 2, and shown on plan No. 8932, deposited in the office of the District Land Registrar at Auckland; thence following the north-east boundary of said Lot 1 to the south-east corner of said Lot 1; thence by that boundary-line produced across a public road; thence by the road forming the northern boundary of Lot 3 of subdivision of portion. of Hungahunga No. 1, and shown on plan No. 7060, deposited in the office of the District Land Registrar at Auckland; thence by the eastern and southern boundaries of said Lot 3; thence by the eastern boundary of Lot 5 of subdivision of Hungahunga No. 1 Block, and shown on plan No. 2841, deposited in the office of the District Land Registrar at Auckland, to the south-east corner of said Lot 5; thence by the south-east and south-west boundary-lines of said Lot 5, and part of south-west boundary-line of Lot 4, shown on plan aforesaid No. 2841, to the northernmost corner of Section 1, Block VIII, Maungakawa Survey District; thence by the north-west boundary of said Section 1, across a public road, and again by the north-west boundary of said Section 1; thence by the right bank of the Waitoa River to the place of commencement.

WAIHOU RIDING.
All that area in the Auckland Land District, situated in the Piako County, bounded towards the north from the Waitoa River to the Waihou River by the Ohinemuri County boundary; towards the north-east generally by the Waihou River aforesaid; towards the south and south-east by the road forming the southern boundary of Sections 27, 25, 24, 23, and 22 of Block XII, Aroha Survey District, Sections 19B and 17 of Block XI of the said survey district, and road forming the south-eastern boundaries of Te Kapa and Waihekau No. 3 Blocks, and again towards the north-east generally by the Piranui Stream to the northern boundary of Hungahunga No. 2 Block; thence by the said northern boundary of Hungahunga No. 2 Block to the north-east corner of Lot 1 of subdivision of Allotment 7, Hungahunga No. 2, and shown on plan No. 8932, deposited in the office of the District Land Registrar at Auckland; thence following the north-east boundary of said Lot 1 to the south-east corner of said Lot 1; thence by that boundary-line produced across a public road; thence by the said road forming the northern boundary of Lot 3 of subdivision of portion of Hungahunga No. 1, and shown on plan No. 7060, deposited in the office of the District Land Registrar at Auckland; thence by the eastern and southern boundaries of said Lot 3; thence by the eastern boundary of Lot 5 of subdivision of Hungahunga No. 1 Block, and shown on plan No. 2841, deposited in the office of the District Land Registrar at Auckland, to the south-east corner of said Lot 5; thence by the south-east and south-west boundary-lines of said Lot 5 and part of south-west boundary-line of Lot 4, shown on aforesaid plan No. 2841, to the northernmost corner of Section 1, Block VIII, Maungakawa Survey District; thence by the north-west boundary of said Section 1, across a public road, and again by the north-west boundary of said Section 1; thence by the right bank of the Waitoa River to the place of commencement.

MANAWARU RIDING.
All that area in the Auckland Land District situated in the Piako County. Bounded towards the north-west, west, and north generally by the Waihou Riding hereinbefore defined; towards the north-east generally by the Waihou River; towards the south-east and south generally by the Matamata County; and towards the south-west generally by the right bank of the Waitoa River to the place of commencement.
