Land taken for the Purposes of a Road in Blocks XII, Ngatapa, and IX, Waikohu Survey Districts, Cook County.
[L.S.] LIVERPOOL, Governor-General.
A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken, under the Public Works Act, 1908, for a certain public work—to wit, for the purposes of a road in Blocks XII, Ngatapa, and IX, Waikohu Survey Districts, Cook County:
And whereas the Cook County Council has laid before the Governor-General a memorial, accompanied by a map, and also the statutory declaration, as required by the said Act:
Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of a road; and I do also hereby declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twenty-ninth day of March, one thousand nine hundred and nineteen.

APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of land taken:—
A. R. P.
0 0 14·95 Lot 2, Okahuatiu No. 1 Block, Block XII, Ngatapa Survey District.
6 1 37 Lot 2, Okahuatiu No. 1, Block IX, Waikohu Survey District.
Situated in Poverty Bay R.D.
In the Hawke’s Bay Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 43653, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, Member of His Majesty’s Most Honourable Privy Council, Knight Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Knight Grand Cross of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire, Member of the Royal Victorian Order, Knight of Grace of the Order of Saint John of Jerusalem, Governor-General and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty’s Dominion of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Dominion, at the Government House at Wellington, this first day of March, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and nineteen.

Land taken for the Purposes of a Road in Block VI, Maungataniwha Survey District, Mongonui County.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken, under the Public Works Act, 1908, for a certain public work—to wit, for the purposes of a road in Block VI, Maungataniwha Survey District, Mongonui County:
And whereas an agreement has been entered into, in terms of section twenty-seven of the said Act, to take such land for the public work hereinafter set forth:
And whereas a plan has been prepared, and the Minister has recommended the Governor-General to issue a Proclamation taking the land, as required by the said Act:
Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, and being satisfied of the sufficiency of the agreement hereinbefore referred to, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of a road; and I also hereby declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the fifteenth day of March, one thousand nine hundred and nineteen.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 2 acres 1 rood 27·6 perches.
Portion of S.E. 31, Maungataniwha East Parish, Block VI, Maungataniwha Survey District. (S.O. 18566.)
In the Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 45535, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, Member of His Majesty’s Most Honourable Privy Council, Knight Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Knight Grand Cross of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire, Member of the Royal Victorian Order, Knight of Grace of the Order of Saint John of Jerusalem, Governor-General and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty’s Dominion of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Dominion, at the Government House at Wellington, this twenty-seventh day of February, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and nineteen.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken for a portion of the North Island Main Trunk Railway:
And whereas all the conditions precedent required by law to be observed and performed prior to the taking of such land for the purposes hereinbefore specified have been observed and performed:
Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by section one hundred and eighty-eight of the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for a portion of the said line of railway hereinbefore specified.

In the Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 44378 (sheet 2), deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured brown.
