the rate of exchange between New Zealand and the country
to which the transfers are to be made.

(4.) Where application is made to the Postmaster-General
to accept transfer to the Post Office Savings-bank of New
Zealand of any sum standing to the credit of a depositor in
the Government Savings-bank of Great Britain or that of
any British possession or foreign country with which a
reciprocal arrangement to that effect has been made, the
Postmaster-General may place such sum to the credit of that
depositor's account in the Post Office Savings-bank.

(5.) Subject to the provisions of the Post and Telegraph
Act, 1908, and its amendments, in so far as they relate to
the conduct of the Post Office Savings-bank, and of these
regulations, sums transferred to the Post Office Savings-bank
of New Zealand from the Government Savings-bank of Great
Britain or that of any British possession or foreign country
shall for all purposes be treated as deposits made in the
Post Office Savings-bank.

Revising of Press Telegram Rates.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this fifteenth day of
December, 1919.

Present:
THE HONOURABLE SIR WILLIAM FRASER PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS by Order in Council dated the eighth day of July, one
thousand nine hundred and nineteen, and published in the New
Zealand Gazette of the twenty-fourth day of July, one thousand nine
hundred and nineteen, regulations were made under the authority of the
Post and Telegraph Act, 1908 (hereinafter termed "the said Act"), inter
alia, fixing and determining the fees and rates to be demanded and received
for the transmission of Press telegrams:

And whereas it is expedient to amend the regulations and fees for the
transmission of such telegrams in the manner hereinafter set forth:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion
of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority
conferred upon him by the said Act, and of all other powers and authorities
in that behalf enabling him, and acting by and with the advice and consent
of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby revoke the
regulations, fees, and rates specified as Class 1A under the heading "Press
Telegrams" in the above-recited Order in Council, and in lieu thereof doth
make the regulations and fix the fees and rates set forth in the Schedule
hereto for the same purpose; and doth hereby order that such regulations
and such fees and rates shall form part of and be read together with the
regulations first herein mentioned, and shall have effect on and from the
date of publication of this Order in Council in the New Zealand Gazette.

Saturday at a charge of 1s. per 100 words or
fraction thereof, each message charged separately.
On any day other than a day of publication
telegrams are charged for separately at this rate.

nine hundred and seven, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the thirty-
first day of December, one thousand nine hundred and seven, regulations were made
under the authority of the Post Office Act, 1900, inter alia, fixing the rates of charges
for the transmission through the medium of the Post Office or the electric telegraph,
by means of money-orders, of money to and from places within and beyond New Zealand,
