Land withdrawn from State-forest Reservation.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS by a Proclamation dated the twenty-fourth day of February, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-six, and published in Gazette of the fourth day of March, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-six, certain lands in Jacob's River Hundred, Southland Land District, were, inter alia, set apart as and for State forests in terms of the New Zealand State Forests Act, 1885 :
And whereas the bush upon the land described in the Schedule hereto (being part of the lands so set apart) has been cut, and it is expedient that the said Proclamation should be rescinded in so far as it relates to the land described in the said Schedule:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by section twenty-eight of the State. Forests Act, 1908, and of all other powers and authorities enabling him in this behalf, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby rescind the Proclamation dated the twenty-fourth day of February, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-six, hereinbefore referred to, in so far as it relates to the lands described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
SOUTH LAND LAND DISTRICT.
Description of Land proposed to be withdrawn from State Forest.
ALL that area in the Southland Land District, containing 160 acres, more or less, being parts of Sections 37, 38, and 39, Block XIX, Jacob's River Hundred, and bounded commencing at the north-west corner of Section 37, Block XIX, Jacob's River Hundred aforesaid ; thence north-easterly along the north-west boundary of said Section 37 to the State forest boundary; thence south-easterly, north-easterly, south-easterly, and south-westerly along the State forest boundary aforesaid to the south-west boundary of Section 39, Block XIX aforesaid ; thence north-westerly along the said south-west boundary to the westernmost corner of Section 39

aforesaid; thence north-easterly to the north-west corner of said Section 39; thence north-westerly along the south-west boundary of Sections 37, 38, Block XIX aforesaid, to the point of commencement.
Also all that area, containing 10 acres, more or less, being part of Section 37, Block XIX, Jacob's River Hundred, and bounded commencing at the north-east corner of Section 37, Block XIX aforesaid ; thence south-westerly along the north-west boundary of said Section 37 to the State forest boundary; thence easterly along the said boundary to the north-eastern boundary of said Section 37; thence north-westerly along the said north-eastern boundary to the point of commencement.
Also all that area, containing 13 acres, more or less, being part of Section 48, Block XIX, Jacob's River Hundred, and bounded commencing at the north-west corner of Section 48 aforesaid; thence south-easterly along the north-east boundary of said Section 48 to the State forest boundary; thence south-westerly and westerly along the said State forest boundary to the north-western boundary of said Section 48; thence north-easterly along the said north-western boundary to the point of commencement.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, Member of His Majesty's Most Honourable Privy Council, Knight Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Knight Grand Cross of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire, Member of the Royal Victorian Order, Knight of Grace of the Order of Saint John of Jerusalem, Governor-General and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty's Dominion of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Dominion, at the Government House at Wellington, this fourth day of February, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and nineteen.
