Endowment Reserves for Education sanctioned by Parliament.

THE following resolutions passed by the Legislative Council and by the House of Representatives are published in accordance with section 324 of the Land Act, 1908.

EXTRACT FROM THE JOURNALS OF THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL, TUESDAY, THE 21ST DAY OF OCTOBER, 1919.
RESOLVED, "That the report of the Lands Committee, brought up on Friday, the 17th day of October, upon the proposal contained in Paper 161, to reserve permanently Allotment 367, Pukeatua Parish; Sections 18 and 19, Block III, Burnett Survey District; and Reserve 4021, Opihi Survey District, as endowments for primary education, be agreed to."

EXTRACT FROM THE JOURNALS OF THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES, WEDNESDAY, THE 5TH DAY OF NOVEMBER, 1919.
ORDERED, "That this House approves of the lands specified in Paper No. 174 of this session being permanently reserved as endowments for primary education as therein set forth, in terms of section 324 of the Land Act, 1908."
