And whereas one month’s notice in writing of the intention to proclaim the said road-line as a public road has been given by the Surveyor-General to the local authority of the district concerned, in terms of section fifteen of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1914:
And whereas it is now expedient that the said road-line should be proclaimed as a public road:
Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section forty-nine of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1913, do hereby proclaim as a public road the road-line described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land proclaimed: 13 acres 1 rood.
Portion of Whaiti-Kuranui No. 1b Y Block, situated in Blocks XII and XVI, Patetere North Survey District.
In the Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 16/167, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, Member of His Majesty’s Most Honourable Privy Council, Knight Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Knight Grand Cross of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire, Member of the Royal Victorian Order, Knight of Justice of the Order of Saint John of Jerusalem, Governor-General and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty’s Dominion of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Dominion, at the Government House at Wellington, this twelfth day of December, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and nineteen.

Proclaiming District under the Inspection of Machinery Act, 1908.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS it is enacted by section three of the Inspection of Machinery Act, 1908 (hereinafter called “the said Act”), that the Governor may by Proclamation from time to time divide New Zealand into districts, with such boundaries as he thinks convenient, and may assign to any such district a name by which it shall be known for the purposes of the said Act; and may in like manner from time to time alter the boundaries of districts:
And whereas it is desirable to proclaim a district under the said Act to be called the Taranaki North District:
Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the power and authority conferred upon me by section three of the said Act, do hereby proclaim and declare that the area described in the Schedule hereto shall be a district for the purposes of the said Act, and that it shall be known by the name of the Taranaki North District.

SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the Taranaki and Auckland Land Districts bounded by a line commencing on the sea-coast at the mouth of the Ouri Stream (near Pihama); thence proceeding up that stream to its intersection with Skeet Road; thence along that road, the Hastings Road, and the Stratford-Opunake Road to the Borough of Stratford; thence along the southern boundary of that borough to the Stratford-Toko Railway; thence along that railway to its intersection with the Toko Road; thence along that road, the Mangao-tuku Road, the Mangaehu Road, the Puniwhakau Road, the Manga Road, the Whaka Road, and the Kohi Road to the Whangamomona River, across that river, and proceeding
along the Round Hill Road and the Tahunaroa Road to the confluence of the Tangarakau and Wanganui Rivers, thence up the last-mentioned river to the mouth of the Mararoa Stream; thence north-westerly by a right line to the confluence of the Papatarata Stream with the Tangarakau River; thence up the last-mentioned river and the Waita-anga Stream to its source on Tawhitiraupeka; thence northerly along the Ohura County boundary to the Mokau River; thence by a right line to the junction of the Awakino-Te Kuiti Road and the Upper Awakino Valley Road; thence northerly along the last-mentioned road and the Awakino-Mangaotaki Road to its junction with the Mangaotaki-Kiritehere Road; thence due north along a right line to the Pomarangei Road, and along that road and the Kairimu Valley Road to the Marakopa River; thence down that river to the sea-coast, and southwards along the sea-coast to the point of commencement.
As the same is more particularly delineated and edged in red upon the plan marked M.D. 5113, deposited in the office of the Minister of Marine at Wellington, in the Provincial District of Wellington, Dominion of New Zealand.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section eleven of the Land Act, 1908, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby, with the consents of the lessee of the land described in the Schedule hereto, and of the Tauranga County Council, being the local authority in whose district the said land is situated, proclaim as a road the land described in the said Schedule.
