NOTICE is hereby given that, pursuant to an application in that behalf made to me by the Dunedin and Port Chalmers Upholsteresses’ Industrial Union of Workers, registered number 1065, situated at Dunedin, and in exercise of the powers in this behalf conferred upon me by section 21 of the Industrial Conciliation and Arbitration Act, 1908, it is my intention to cancel the registration of that industrial union after the expiration of six weeks from the date of the publication of this notice in the Gazette, unless in the meantime cause is shown to the contrary.

Tenders for Mail Steam Service to Chatham Islands.
General Post Office,
Wellington, 4th December, 1919.
ALTERNATIVE tenders will be received at this office until noon on Thursday, the 22nd January, 1920, for the conveyance of mails once every two months, by steamer, to and from the Chatham Islands, calling at such places, inclusive of Pitt Island, in the Group as may be determined upon by the Postmaster-General, for two or three years from the 1st March, 1920, with Lyttelton or Wellington as the port of departure and the port of arrival.
Tenders, which must state the maximum passenger-fares and freight-charges proposed to be levied to and from the Chatham Islands, are to be indorsed “Tenders for Chatham Islands Mail-service,” and addressed to the Secretary, G.P.O., Wellington.
Names, tonnage, and horse-power of steamers proposed to be used to be stated.
The lowest or any tender will not necessarily be accepted.

NOTICE is hereby given that the lease of the under-mentioned land having been declared forfeited by resolution of the Otago Land Board, the said land has thereby reverted to the Crown, under the provisions of the Land Act, 1908, and the Discharged Soldiers Settlement Act, 1915.

NOTICE is hereby given that the undermentioned lands are open for sale or lease under the Discharged Soldiers Settlement Act, 1915, and the regulations thereunder; and applications will be received at the District Lands and Survey Office, Napier, up to 4 o’clock p.m. on Monday, the 19th January, 1920.
The lands may be purchased for cash or on deferred payments, or selected on lease for sixty-six years, with right of renewal for further successive terms of sixty-six years and a right to acquire the freehold.
Applicants must appear personally before the Land Board for examination at the District Lands and Survey Office, Napier, on Monday, the 26th January, 1920, at 9 o’clock a.m.
