THE following notice, received from the Chairman of the Board of the Huntly Road District, is published in accordance with the provisions of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913.

HUNTLY ROAD BOARD.
Result of Poll on Proposal to raise a Loan.
PURSUANT to the provisions of section 12 of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, and amendments thereto, I hereby give notice that at a poll of the ratepayers of the Huntly Road District taken on the 8th day of October, 1919, on the proposal of the Huntly Road Board to borrow the sum of £11,300 for the purpose of forming and metalling the roads of the said district, the number of votes recorded for the proposal was 135, and the number of votes recorded against the proposal was 16.
I therefore declare the proposal to be carried.
Dated at Huntly this 22nd day of October, 1919.

COUNTY OF KAWHIA.
Result of Poll on Proposal to raise a Loan.
PURSUANT to section 12 of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, I hereby give notice that at a poll of the ratepayers of the Oparau Riding taken on the 11th day of November, 1919, on the proposal of the Kawhia County Council to borrow the sum of £1,500 for metalling portion of the Okupata-Pekanui Road, the number of votes recorded for the proposal was 40, and the number of votes recorded against the proposal was 7.
I therefore declare that the proposal was carried.
Dated at Kawhia this 13th day of November, 1919.
