Declaring a certain Area added to the County of Waikohu to be included in Ngatapa Riding thereof.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS by a Proclamation dated the twenty-ninth day of April, one thousand nine hundred and nineteen, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the first day of May, one thousand nine hundred and nineteen, the boundaries of the Counties of Cook and Waikohu were altered by the exclusion of a certain area from the County of Cook and the inclusion of such area in the County of Waikohu:
And whereas it is desirable that the area so added to the County of Waikohu should be included in the Ngatapa Riding of that county:
Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred upon me by section twenty-two of the Counties Act, 1908, do hereby declare that the area included as aforesaid in the County of Waikohu shall as on and from the first day of December, one thousand nine hundred and nineteen, be included in the Ngatapa Riding of the said county, and that the boundaries of that riding shall be those set forth in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
NGATAPA RIDING, WAIKOHU COUNTY.
All that area in the Hawke's Bay Land District bounded by a line commencing on Mangatapere Trig. Station; thence proceeding south-easterly along the north-eastern boundary of Tahora 2c 2, Section 2, Lot 9, the north-eastern boundary of Section 1, Block IX, Ngatapa Survey District, to and along the north-western boundary of Wharekopae No. 1B 3 Section 1, the north-western boundaries of Section 1, Block VI, Ngatapa Survey District, and of Section 2, Block XI, to the Ngatapa Stream; thence down the middle of that stream to a point in line with the north-western boundary of Wharekopae 2A Block; thence to and along that boundary, the north-western boundaries of Wharekopae Nos. 2B 1 and 2B 2, and the northern boundary of the Okahuatiu No. 1 Block to the Wharekopae Stream; thence down that stream to a point in line with the north-eastern boundary of Tangihanga C Subdivision 1; thence to and along the said boundary of that subdivision to the north-eastern boundary of the Ngatapa Settlement; thence along the north-eastern boundary of that settlement to the northernmost corner of Section 3, Block X, Waikohu Survey District; thence along the north-western and western boundaries of the said Ngatapa Settlement to the Tahora Road; thence along the middle of that road to the Wharekopae Stream; thence up the middle of that stream to Wharekopae No. 1A, Lot 2; thence along the south-eastern boundary of the said Lot 2, the south-eastern boundaries of Hangaroa-Matawai B No. 4 and B No. 1 to the Hangaroa River; thence to and along the middle of that river to a point in line with the eastern boundary of Small Grazing-run No. 30; thence to and along the eastern and southern boundaries of that run to the Kawaimango Stream; thence up the said stream and along the western boundary of Small Grazing-run 62 to the north-eastern corner of Section 1, Block VIII, Tuahu Survey District; thence along the northern boundary of that section, across the Mangatahae Stream; thence along the north-eastern boundary of Lot 21, the eastern and northern boundaries of Lot 24, the northern boundary of Lot 23, and the north-eastern and western boundaries of Lot 18, all of Tahora No. 2c 1 Section 3 and No. 2f Section 2 blocks; thence across the Ruakituri River and the production of the western boundary of Lot 18 to its intersection with a right line between Puketapu and Mangapohatu Trig. Stations; thence north-westerly along the said right line to Mangapohatu Trig. Station; thence along a right line to Mangatapere Trig. Station, the point of commencement.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, Member of His Majesty's Most Honourable Privy Council, Knight Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Knight Grand Cross of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire, Member of the Royal Victorian Order, Knight of Justice of the Order of Saint John of Jerusalem, Governor-General and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty's Dominion of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Dominion, at the Government House at Wellington, this twenty-sixth day of November, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and nineteen.
