β¨ Amending Shipping Regulations
And whereas it is expedient to amend the said regulations in the
manner hereinafter set forth :
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of that Dominion, doth hereby, in pursuance of the authority conferred by the War Regulations Act, 1914, and its amendments, and by section thirty-five of the War Legislation Act, 1917, amend the said regulations in the manner set forth in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
The term "New Zealand ship" as used in clauses 6, 7, and 8 of the said Shipping Regulations, 1917, shall extend and apply not only to any British ship having its port of registry in New Zealand, but also to any British ship owned by or chartered by any company incorporated in New Zealand, or any company, firm, or person the headquarters of whose business is in New Zealand.
