along that section to the south-westernmost corner of Tahu-
roa A; thence along the western boundary of the said
Tahuroa A to its northernmost corner: thence easterly
along that section and Tahuroa B to the Pahaoa River;
then generally south-easterly and north-easterly along that
river to the south-westernmost corner of Part 2 of Section 289;
then in a northerly direction along the western boundary of
Section 289 to the place of commencement.

And that such special rate shall be an annually recurring
rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable half-
yearly on the first day of October and the first day of April
in each and every year during the currency of such loan,
being a period of thirty-six and a half (36½) years, or until
the loan is fully paid off.

I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly
passed at a meeting of the Featherston County Council held
on the 14th day of November, 1919.

FEATHERSTON COUNTY COUNCIL.

RESOLUTION LEVYING SPECIAL RATE.—UPPER TAUHERENIKAU
BRIDGE LOAN.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that
behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, the
Featherston County Council hereby resolves as follows:—

That, for the purpose of providing the instalments in respect
to interest and principal and also other charges on a loan of
£2,000, authorized to be raised by the Featherston County
Council, under the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, being a
portion of the contribution required to enable the Featherston
County Council to comply with the Governor-General’s
Warrant dated the 6th day of June, 1919, published in the
New Zealand Gazette of the 12th June, 1919, No. 71, for the
construction of the Upper Tauherenikau Bridge and
approaches thereto, situated between Featherston and Grey-
town, the said Featherston County Council hereby makes
and levies a special rate of one-ninetieth of a penny in the
pound sterling on the rateable value of all rateable properties
situated within the County of Featherston; and that such
special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the
currency of such loan, and be payable half-yearly on the first
days of February and August in each and every year during
the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six and a
half (36½) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly

KAKEPUKU ROAD BOARD.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in
that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, the
Kakepuku Road Board hereby resolves as follows:—

That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other
charges on a loan of one thousand pounds (£1,000), authorized
to be raised by the Kakepuku Road Board, under the above-
mentioned Act, for constructing drains in the Kakepuku
Road District, the said Kakepuku Road Board hereby makes
and levies a special rate of seven-eighths of a penny in the
pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the
special rating area, comprising all that area in the Kakepuku
Road District, West Taupo County, bounded, commencing
at the junction of the Ouruwhero Road and the western
boundary of the West Taupo County; thence north-westerly
along that boundary to the northern boundary of Kake-
puku No. 2A; thence along the northern and eastern boundary
of Section 7; thence easterly along that boundary to the
Raupara Road; thence along the road to the western
boundary of Section 16; thence along the western and the
northern boundaries to a road; thence north-westerly along
that road to the northern boundary of Section 3; thence
easterly along that boundary a distance of 23 chains; thence
south-easterly by a straight line to the north-eastern corner
of Rapaura Block; thence south-easterly along the eastern
boundary of Rapaura Block to the Puniu Road; thence
south-easterly along the Puniu Road to the intersection of
the Puniu Road and eastern boundary of Section 8; thence
south-easterly along the eastern boundaries of Sections 8
and 9, Mangamahoe B 31, to the north-western corner of
Kakepuku No. 1E; thence easterly along the northern
boundary of No. 1E to the north-eastern corner of No. 1E
to the intersection of a road; thence south-westerly along
that road to the south-eastern boundary of No. 1F 2; thence
along that boundary to the south-east corner; thence westerly

along the northern boundary of Kakepuku 11A to the south-
eastern corner of No. 1G; thence northerly along the western
boundary of No. 1G to the Ouruwhero Road to the south-
eastern boundary of No. 1A; thence along the south-eastern
and south-western boundaries to the Ouruwhero Road;
then westerly along that road to the commencing-point.

And that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate
during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on
the 30th day of September in each and every year during
the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six and
a half (36½) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

OHINEMURI COUNTY COUNCIL.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in
that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, and
the amendments thereof and the regulations thereunder,
the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of
Ohinemuri hereby resolve as follows:—

That, for the purpose of providing the instalments in
respect of the principal and interest and other charges on a
loan of fifteen thousand pounds, authorized to be raised by
the Ohinemuri County Council, under the Local Bodies’
Loans Act, 1913, for the construction of the following roads
in the Netherton Riding of the said Ohinemuri County—
viz., Wilson’s new road, main road Puke Bridge to county
boundary, Rangiora Road, Awai ti Road, Fisher’s Road,
Munro’s Road, Munro’s Road to near Housler’s, Housler’s
to main road, Pekapeka Road, Johnson’s Road, and
Netherton – Turua – Kerepeehi Road — the said Ohinemuri
County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of
seven-eighths of a penny in the pound upon the rateable
value of all rateable property in the Netherton Special Rating
Area as follows,—

Description of the Boundaries of the Netherton Special Rating
Area.

All that area of land bounded as follows: Commencing at
a point on the north boundary of the Ohinemuri County
where it intersects the east boundary of Section 1A of Block
VII, Waihou Survey District, by part of the north boundary
of the Ohinemuri County running due east to left bank of the
Waihou River; thence by the left bank of the Waihou River
in a general south-easterly direction to the north boundary
of the canal reserve; thence by part of the northern and
western boundaries of the canal reserve running in north-
west erly and south-westerly directions to the south boundary
of Section 8, Block XII, Waihou Survey District; thence
by the south boundary running west and part of the west
boundary running north of Section 8 to the north-east corner
of Lot 12 of Section 9, Block XII, Waihou Survey District;
thence by the north boundaries of Lots 11, 10, 9, 8, and 7
of the said Section 9 running due west to the north-west
corner of Lot 7; thence by the west boundaries of Lot 7
and Section 1, Block XVI, Waihou Survey District, running
in a southerly direction to the south-west corner of the
said section; thence by the southern boundaries of Sec-
tion 1 and Waihou West No. 3 running in a south-easterly
direction to the Waihou River; thence by the left bank of
the Waihou River in a general southerly direction to the
south-east boundary of a road in Te Awai ti No. 1B No. 2B 1;
thence by part of the south-east boundary of the road and
part of south-east boundary of Te Awai ti No. 1B 2B 1 running
in a south-westerly direction to the south-west corner of the
block; thence by part of the west boundary of the said
Awai ti Block running in a northerly direction to its inter-
section with the south boundary of a road; thence by the
south boundary of the road running in a westerly direction
to its intersection with the south-east boundary of Te Awai ti
No. 1B 2B 3; thence by the south-east boundary of Te Awai ti
No. 1B 2B 3 to the south-west corner of the block; thence
by the south-west boundaries of Te Awai ti No. 1B 2B 3,
No. 1/2B 4, No. 1/2B 1A, No. 1/2B 1B, No. 1/2B 2 (W. por-
tion), and Section 2, Te Awai ti No. 1/2B 3, running in a
north-easterly direction to the north-western corner of
Section 2, Te Awai ti No. 1/2B 3; thence by the north-west
boundary of the said Section 2 and part of the north-west
boundary of Section 1 of Te Awai ti No. 1/2B 3 running in a
north-west direction to the Awai ti Stream; thence by the
left bank of the Awai ti Stream in a north-westerly direction
to the south-east boundary of Te Awai ti No. 1D 2; thence
by part of the south-east boundary running south-west,
the south-east boundary running south-west, the south-west
boundary running north-west, and the north-west boundary
running north-east, and crossing the Awai ti Stream, to the
