Enemy Subjects.—Permits to Travel.

THE notice issued by Commissioner Cullen on 9th December, 1914 (New Zealand Gazette, 1914, page 4340) respecting the restriction placed on the movements of enemy subjects is now revoked, as well as all subsequent instructions relating thereto. It is thought that the operation of the Registration of Aliens Act, 1917, will meet all requirements in future.

Discharge of Men of the New Zealand Expeditionary Force.

IN pursuance of section 14 of the Expeditionary Forces Act, 1915, I, Major-General Sir Alfred William Robin, K.C.M.G., C.B., Commandant of the New Zealand Defence Forces, do hereby discharge from the New Zealand Expeditionary Force, as from the date of this order,—

(1.) All members (other than officers) of that Force who, having been discharged after service abroad, re-enlisted for service in the New Zealand Expeditionary Force and did not again proceed overseas.

(2.) All members (other than officers) of that Force who have been or are employed in New Zealand on actual home service.

Lands in the Auckland Land District forfeited.

NOTICE is hereby given that the leases and licenses of the undermentioned lands having been declared forfeited by resolution of the Auckland Land Board, the said lands have thereby reverted to the Crown under the provisions of the Land Act, 1908, and the Discharged Soldiers Settlement Act, 1915.
