28th August, 1919, relating to Lieutenant (temp. Captain)
E. Stewart, is cancelled, and the following substituted :—

of Captain whilst employed with Audit Section,
N.Z.E.F. Headquarters. Dated 21st May, 1919.

to approve of the appointments, promotions, resig-
nations, retirements, and transfers of the undermentioned
officers of the N.Z. Staff Corps and Territorial Forces, and
the reposting of officers from the N.Z. Expeditionary Force
to the N.Z. Staff Corps, N.Z. Permanent Staff, and Territorial
Forces.

COMMANDS AND STAFF.

Colonel Charles James Cooper, C.B.E. $(d)$, relinquishes the
appointment of Coast Defence Commander, Lyttelton, and
is posted to the Retired List under the provisions of para-
graph 126, General Regulations, 1913, with permission to
retain his rank and wear the prescribed uniform. Dated
31st October, 1919.

Colonel Ralph Anderson Chaffey, C.B.E., A.D.C., V.D., re-
linquishes the appointment of Officer Commanding, Canter-
bury Military District, dated 1st November, 1919, and is
demobilized. Dated 29th November, 1919.

Colonel Robert Ward Tate, C.B.E., is transferred to the
Reserve of Officers. Dated 6th November, 1919.

9TH (HAWKE'S BAY) REGIMENT.

Sergeant John Henry Thomas Munro to be 2nd Lieutenant
(on probation). Dated 22nd October, 1919.

11TH REGIMENT (TARANAKI RIFLES).
