notwithstanding that the same may be then held under pastoral license, any Crown lands which in his opinion are required for any of the purposes in the said section mentioned:
And whereas by the sixty-ninth section of the Land for Settlements Act, 1908, it is further provided that the Governor-General may from time to time, as he thinks fit, set aside reserves for any specified public purpose out of land acquired under the last-mentioned Act, provided that no land so acquired shall be set aside for endowments:
Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the said Act, do hereby temporarily reserve from sale the lands in the North Auckland, Auckland, Westland, and Canterbury Land Districts described in the Schedule hereunder written, for the purposes in the said Schedule specified at the end of the respective descriptions of the lands so intended to be temporarily reserved.
SCHEDULE.
NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.
ALL that area in the North Auckland Land District, situated in Block VI, Takahue Survey District, containing by admeasurement 10.2 perches, more or less, being Allotment 154, Mangatete Parish. Bounded towards the north-east by portion of Allotment 10 of the aforesaid parish, 317.9 links; towards the south-west by a public road, 151.1 and 144.7 links; and towards the north-west by Allotment 149 of the said Parish of Mangatete, 47.3 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. As the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 6/6/180a, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged purple. (North Auckland plan No. 20609). As an addition to a site for a public school.
AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.
All that area in the Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 6 acres, more or less, being Section 9, Block VIII, Maungamangero Survey District. Bounded toward the north generally by a public road, 96.1, 184.4, and 390.9 links; towards the north-east by Section 4, Block VIII, Maungamangero Survey District, 786.3 links; towards the south-east by Sections 64 and 70, Mairoa Township, 784.3 links; and towards the south-west by Mairoa Road, 930.2 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 6/6/227, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red. (Auckland plan No. 11730, blue). As a site for a public school.
WESTLAND LAND DISTRICT.
All that area in the Westland Land District, being Reserve 972 (and formerly portion of Section 3243), Block I, Punakaiki Survey District, containing by admeasurement 1 acre, more or less, bounded as follows: Starting at a point on the eastern side of the North Road, distant 543.1 links in a south-westerly direction from the north-western corner of Section 3243, Block I, Punakaiki Survey District; thence in a south-easterly direction 400 links, thence in a south-westerly direction 250 links, thence in a north-westerly direction 400 links, to said North Road; thence along the eastern side of said North Road in a north-easterly direction, 250 links, to the starting-point. As the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 6/6/134, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red. As a site for a public school.
CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT
All that area in the Canterbury Land District, containing by admeasurement 1 rood, more or less, being Reserve 4031 in the Township of Waipara. Bounded towards the north by Johnston Street, 250 links; towards the east by part of Rural Section 7538, 100 links; towards the south by Section 12, Waipara Township, 250 links; and towards the west by Glenmark Street, 100 links. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 22/2534, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. As a site for a public hall.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, this fourteenth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and nineteen.

Portion of a Primary-education Endowment in Mangatete Parish, North\Auckland Land District, set apart as a Site for_a Public School.
LIVERPOOL, Governor-General.
WHEREAS by section five of the Education Reserves Amendment Act, 1911, it is enacted that the Governor-General may, on the recommendation of the Land Board of the district in which are situated any reserves or endowment vested in the Crown by or in pursuance of section two of the Education Reserves Amendment Act, 1910, set apart as sites for public schools, secondary schools, or technical schools any part of such reserves or endowments:
And whereas the Land Board of the Auckland Land District has duly passed a resolution recommending that the portion of the primary-education endowment described in the Schedule hereto should be set apart as a site for a public school, and it is expedient to give effect to such recommendation:
Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Acts aforesaid, do hereby set apart the portion of the primary-education endowment described in the Schedule hereto as a site for a public school.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the North Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 2 acres 3 roods 29.8 perches, more or less, and being portion of Allotment 10, Mangatete Parish, situated in Block VI, Takahue Survey District. Bounded towards the north-east and south-east by the other portion of Allotment 10 aforesaid, 560.4 and 642.5 links respectively; towards the south-west by a public road, 314.7 links, and Allotment 154, Mangatete Parish aforesaid, 317.9 links; and towards the north-west by the southern portion of Allotment 11, Mangatete Parish, 358.1 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. As the same is delineated on plan marked L. and S. 6/6/180, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged purple. (North Auckland plan No. 20609.)
