UAWA COUNTY COUNCIL.
NOTICE OF SPECIAL ORDER.
NOTICE is hereby given that at a special meeting of the Uawa County Council held on Saturday, 11th October, 1919, the following resolution was passed, and will be confirmed at the ordinary meeting of the Council to be held on Saturday, 8th November, 1919, at 11 a.m., at the office of the Council, Gisborne Farmers’ Co-operative Company’s Buildings, Tolaga Bay.
RESOLUTION.
That this Council proceed, under the powers conferred upon it by section 128 of the Counties Act, 1908, by special order, to declare the roads mentioned in the Schedule hereto to be main roads of the county.
SCHEDULE.
The main Coast Road, from the Pakarae Bridge (southern boundary of the county) to junction of that road with the Waiapu County (northern boundary of county).
The Tolaga – Wigan Road, from Tolaga Bay to the Finger-post, junction of Arakihi and Tauwhareparae Roads.
The road from the junction of main Coast Road to the Landing Reserve.

NOTICE is hereby given, in pursuance of section 230 of the Companies Act, 1908, that a general meeting of the members of the above-named company will be held at the offices of the Liquidator, CHARLES FISHER JOHNSON, A.M.P. Buildings, 89 Princes Street, Dunedin, on Wednesday, the 26th day of November, 1919, at 3 o’clock in the afternoon, for the purpose of having an account laid before them showing the manner in which the winding-up has been conducted and the property of the company disposed of, and of hearing any explanation that may be given by the Liquidator; and also of determining by extraordinary resolution the manner in which the books, accounts, and documents of the company and the Liquidator thereof shall be disposed of.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Waitomo County Council proposes, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts, to execute a certain public work—namely, the construction and establishment of a quarry; and for the purposes of such public work the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken. And notice is hereby further given that a plan of the lands so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the Clerk of the said Council, situated in Taupiri Street, Te Kuiti, and is open for inspection (without fee) by all persons during ordinary office hours.
All persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of such land, who have any well-grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said land, must state their objection in writing, and send the same, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the County Clerk at the Council Chambers.
