Revoking the Setting-apart of Land for Selection by Discharged Soldiers, under Ordinary Tenures, of Land in the Canterbury Land District.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section three of the Discharged Soldiers Settlement Act, 1915, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby revoke the Proclamation made on the fifteenth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and sixteen, and published in the Gazette of the twenty-first day of September, then instant, setting apart the area of Crown land described in the Schedule hereto, for selection by discharged soldiers, under the Land Act, 1908.
SCHEDULE.
CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT.--CHEVIOT COUNTY.
Crown Land.
SECTION 1, Block VII, Lowry Peaks Survey District: Area, 2,097 acres 1 rood 33 perches.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, Member of His Majesty's Most Honourable Privy Council, Knight Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Knight Grand Cross of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire, Member of the Royal Victorian Order, Knight of Justice of the Order of Saint John of Jerusalem, Governor-General and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty's Dominion of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Dominion, at the Government House at Wellington, this twenty-ninth day of October, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and nineteen.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance of the power and authority conferred upon me by section four of the Discharged Soldiers Settlement Act, 1915, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the areas of settlement land described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same are hereby set apart and declared open for disposal by way of sale or lease to discharged soldiers, under special tenures, in the manner provided in the said Act.
