Revoking the Reservation over a Scenic Reserve in the North Auckland Land District.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS by Proclamation dated the fourth day of May, one thousand nine hundred and sixteen, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the eleventh day of that month, the land described in the Schedule hereto was declared to be a reserve under the Scenery Preservation Act, 1908:
And whereas the said land is no longer suitable for scenic purposes owing to the absence of scenic bush thereon:
Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred upon me by section eight of the Scenery Preservation Amendment Act, 1910, do hereby revoke the reservation for scenic purposes over the land described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the North Auckland Land District, being Section 28 and part Section 102, situated in Waitakerei Parish (Block XI, Kumeu Survey District), and containing by admeasurement 203 acres 2 roods 13 perches. Bounded towards the north-west by Section 31 (and a crossing of a road 100 links wide), 2246·7 links, by Sections 30 and 29, 3457, 1453·3 (including the crossing of a road 100 links wide), 710·9, 398·8, and 2985 links to the Mokoroa Stream; thence towards the east by the stream aforesaid; thence towards the south by the Waitakerei Block No. 2 (Native land), 7850 and 1818·5 links (including the crossing of a track 50 links wide); thence towards the south-west by other part of Section 102, 1152·5 links (and the crossing of a track 50 links wide): be all the aforesaid linkages more or less, and be all those sections wherever mentioned part of Waitakerei Parish aforesaid: save and excepting from the abovementioned area a road 100 links wide and tracks 50 links wide. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan No. 294, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, Member of His Majesty's Most Honourable Privy Council, Knight Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Knight Grand Cross of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire, Member of the Royal Victorian Order, Knight of Justice of the Order of Saint John of Jerusalem, Governor-General and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty's Dominion of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Dominion, at the Government House at Wellington, this twenty-second day of October, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and nineteen.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS by a Proclamation dated the twenty-fourth day of February, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-six, and published in Gazette of the fourth day of March, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-six, certain lands in Oteramika Hundred, Southland Land District, were, inter alia, set apart as and for State forests in terms of the New Zealand State Forests Act, 1885:
And whereas the bush upon the lands described in the Schedule hereto (being part of the lands so set apart) has been cut, and it is expedient that the said Proclamation should be rescinded in so far as it relates to the lands described in the said Schedule:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by section twenty-eight of the State Forests Act, 1908, and of all other powers and authorities enabling him in this behalf, and
acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby rescind the Proclamation dated the twenty-fourth day of February, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-six, hereinbefore referred to, in so far as it relates to the lands described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
SOUTHLAND LAND DISTRICT.
Description of Land to be withdrawn from State Forest.
ALL that area in the Southland Land District, containing 180 acres, more or less, being part of Blocks VII and X, Oteramika Hundred, and bounded towards the north by Sawmill Area 191, 2800 links; towards the east by part Sawmill Area 191A, 1907·3 links; again towards the north by part Sawmill Area 191A, 3300 links; towards the north-east by a line running in a south-westerly direction, 2700 links, to a point 1418·9 links east of the boundary between Blocks VII and X, Oteramika Hundred aforesaid; towards the south by Hamil Road, 1418·9 links; towards the west by the block boundary between Blocks VII and X aforesaid, 740 links; again towards the south by Crown land, 5518·9 links; and towards the west by Sections 29, 28, and 27, all of Block VII, 3752·6 links, to the place of commencement. As the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 52038A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged green.
All that area in the Southland Land District, containing 83 acres 3 roods 34·6 perches, more or less, being part of Block VII, Oteramika Hundred, and bounded towards the north by a public road, 2818·8 links; towards the east by Sawmill Area 233B, 3161·4 links; towards the south by Sawmill Area 233A, 2800 links; and towards the west by Sections 19 and 20, Block VII, Oteramika Hundred aforesaid, 2836·2 links, to the point of commencement. As the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 52038B, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged green.

Proclaiming Native Land to be Crown Land under Section 14 of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1914.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS by section fourteen of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1914, it is provided, inter alia, that on being satisfied that the purchase of any Native land has been duly completed by or on behalf of the Crown under the authority of the Native Land Act, 1909, the Governor-General may issue a Proclamation that such land has become Crown land:
And whereas the purchase of the Native land set out in the Schedule hereto has been duly completed by or on behalf of the Crown under the authority of the Native Land Act, 1909:
Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority so conferred upon me by section fourteen of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1914, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim the land set out in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land.
